it all depends on alot of different factors - how aggressive your hairloss is, how far it had progressed when you started treatment etc- my experience is very similar to the experience in the clinical trials - my overall hair count increased - i.e. the overall look of my hair has thickened but...
the 1st year on finasteride is always a little up and down - I am coming up to completing my 4th year and it only stabilised towards around month 10 if I recall so stick with it - you may want to supplement with rogaine foam if you need a bit of extra help as its easy to use and doesnt complicate your...
Just chiming in to give my results as I felt I owed it to my fellow male pattern baldness brethen - was a a diffuse NW2 and am more like a 1.5 now - hair has thickened up pleasently and am maintaining - not super thick but enough so I dont worry about sunny days or having my picture taken under bright lights and...
this is quite old and previously discussed at length on the forum, if you google further or do a search on here you will find that there are specific reasons why the finasteride 5mg users had a higher gleason score (indication of agressiveness of cancer) meaning that the figures may have been skewed - I...
i was a diffuse norwood 2 basically early stage hairloss - thinness but no "obvious" bald spot but definetly noticeable thinning - I didnt lose that much on my hairline while on rev (was also on spironolactone and tricomin too) but definetly saw more loss on the crown/vertex - if you do a search on my...
I dont mean to p*ss on anyones revivogen parade but as a guy who used revivogen for 10 months (because I thought I could use something natural to stabalise my hairloss)
I can tell you all I did during that time was go balder - best thing I did was throw the revivogen in the bin , get on finasteride...
I dont have the link but I did read on hairlosshelp in a feature about the comb that FDA clearance is given to medical devices and approval is given to drugs
IT IS TRUE!!! I emailed the FDA last night and they pointed me to the following link with this response - wow so all this time I thought the Hairmax guys were bs'ing they were doing clinical trials - check this out:
In response to your inquiry below, we have recently granted FDA marketing...
people are still missing the point of this thread - hairmax are claiming that the FDA have APPROVED the lasercomb for promoting hair regrowth - that is major - ive emailed th FDA to see if they can confirm it
this isnt anything to do with the dateline feature - if you read the press release from Hairmax that I attached in my original post they are actually claiming they have had approval from the FDA FOR HAIR REGROWTH - they have never claimed this before which is what stunned me - before they used...
I decided to visit the Hairmax website to see what silly delaying tactic they would be using about their "imminent" FDA approval and to my disbelief they are actually saying they have got approval from th FDA for hair growth!!! - is there anyway to validate this claim - I went to the FDA site...
used revivogen for 10 months - hair continued to thin
so I stopped and
used propecia for 10 months - it seems to have stopped the thinning (plus regrowth)
guess which one I am still using!
the revivogen shampoo did smell really nice though.
Ok here are the pics - in my opinion they are the most useless pics for progress tracking - i give major kudos to those guys who bother to take pics in the exact same lighting and situation - I did try but im too lazy and undisciplined - anyhow all I can say is that my hair has basically stayed...
