Yes, that's how I remember it. In the beginning I could easily see through my temples a couple of millimeters since the hairs there were so fine but when I look now the hairs are a lot darker and thicker.
Thank you! Yes I did notice a lot of smaller hairs falling out, my hair is kinda long, maybe 10 inches, and those hairs that fell were maybe just an inch long and very thin.
The only thing that helps when my seb derm flares up is a topical corticosteroid, talk to your derm and you should be able to get a prescription. I have experimented with many natural approaches but when it really flares up, the steroids are the only thing that helps me.

Yes I use proscar along with 2% nizoral which has also helped a lot with my seborrheic dermatitis.

You could try to part your hair with a comb and then apply it dirrectly to the scalp, also try to massage it in from underneath your hair if you don't do that already.
