I suspect it's got to do with the "pattern", or how your hair and scalp formed when you were a fetus. Just a guess.

Re: So that was life? I've been lifting weights for about a year and haven't noticed additional hairloss. My training partner seemed to go through some very rapid hairloss at the same time he got fully into weight training (over a period of 4-5 years). So perhaps there is a link.
