Even if upregulation was real (it isn’t), Dutasteride would be a fix as it inhibits 99% of type 2 DHT. Even if the receptors were jacked up there wouldn’t be enough DHT to hurt them.

If Dutasteride isn’t working then it’s likely that your hairloss could be thyroid, stress, vitamin deficiency, or something else. Dutasteride will cure hairloss that’s due to hormones, but there’s lots of other causes.

Wow. Just wow. I can’t believe the lengths some of you will go just for hair. Lowering test, taking estrogen, oral spironolactone. What good is hair if you lack muscle and have low body fat?? I thought I was intense with my Dutasteride but man I think you guys need to re assess your priorities.

Don’t bother with PRP. The results are even more modest than LLLT and its more expensive. Just invest in the cheapest laser comb and use that. I truly believe that someone on dutasteride, nizoral, minoxidil, LLLT and with a good diet could never lose hair.

That’s 100% tellogen effluvium. Don’t panic brother. Keep stress levels low, keep exercising, and ensure you’re getting enough vitamins, minerals, and protein in your diet. It will grow back. Be patient.
