Hello All
I was hoping to get someone elses opinion on some propecia i just brought from a UK high street pharmacy (lloyds pharmacy). I ordered a six months supply and got two different batch numbers, the pills themselves and the outer packaging is exactly the same, but the blister packs look...
Ok so it's been ages since i posted anything on this site, life has been good and the hair has been getting better hence the reason for less posting.
So it's now been around 1 year and 2 months (ish) on finasteride and everything seems to be going strong, no real change from the last set of pictures...
So it's been a while since i posted here. Many apologies to anyone who actually reads this for not posting. At the end of july i basically moved city, moved house, moved job and moved in with my girlfriend so everything has been really busy at the moment hence the lack of updates. However...
I completely agree with you, i haven't seen anything other than anecdotal evidence posted by people on forums in regards to blood work run on people who suspect they have 'PFS'. What i said in my last post is simply a reflection of what i have read on these forums and therefore is not verifiable...
I actually am in agreement with habeas corpse on this one, this is definitely not somatization disorder. I've seen psych patients with somatization disorder and they almost always tend to be women and they present more like this; persistent headache (over a number of years), dyspareunia, chronic...
I know it's not a scientific study and only a sample size of 2 but i've been on 1mg branded propecia for almost a year and my brother has been on for 4 years (i'm late almost 27 and he is almost 30) and neither of us have had any side-effects to report. I do believe sides effects from finasteride...
No worries, was my pleasure to give any advice i can. For what it's worth i think your doing the right thing, hair is great but staying healthy is better.
Hey HTnewbie, i read your thread and i think your definitely doing the right thing getting off the dutasteride. I don't buy what other people are saying by stating just stay on it, it's your body and you know when something is wrong. I'm not completely sold on dutasteride and personally because of it's...
Hey IrishFella, good to hear from you again! Rode out the shed, it got pretty bad but now back to losing the usual amount per day. Got my hair cut a lot shorter recently as it was looking a bit of a mess and it looks nice and thick which is good. Not much positive growth to report but no further...
No worries man, exercise is a huge part of my life so it was something i took into major consideration when taking finasteride. With the guy that said he was on finasteride for 12 years before stopping then got sides, sure i reckon it's definitely possible to get sides after that amount of time, however most of...
I hope so sparx, i've got my fingers crossed this will at least do something and hey, even if it doesn't work then just got to chalk it up to experience and wait for the next thing to come around the corner!
If you got sides from propecia, i wouldn't touch avodart its a little more hardcore than propecia is and works in the same way by blocking more DHT and both forms of it.
Have you considers tapering in your propecia usage at a lower dose to see if you can tolerate it, plenty of guys who had...
Hey G2BB
I really don't think finasteride has affected my gains (both strength and aerobic) and as i stated before i've continued to make good progress since taking finasteride, however it is impossible for me to say whether i would have made better gains if i was not on finasteride. I would recommend staying on it...
SL, you're right they are releasing material in published studies, it was really the pictures of extra hair growth that they have claimed that i would like to see. I'm not saying they are not being open and we have a lot to thank l'oreal for in regards to funding some really important research i...
