I guess it doesn't breathe like that if you use Ghostbond on the entire scalp.
If so,I'd get crazy itching once I started to heavy sweat and the scalp couldn't breathe.
I got that with entire poly/UTS bases.
Can Ghostbond only be used on the perimeter?
Whatever hair system and adhesive I seem to try I get intermittent itching from.
I've tried poly and UTS,crazy itching when I start sweating and it doesn't breathe.
I get the some itching if I heavy sweat when wearing a cap.
Hybrid and now full French lace base hair system. Intermittent...
Hybrid base maybe then?
Poly edge with French lace centre. Breathable like that.
Cleanup of full french lace base if used with tape isn't too hard.
With glue it will be a pain in the arse.
Spray lace release through the base where the hair is. So the tape stays on your scalp.
Use cotton wool...
Remotely cut in hair systems have been done badly for me in the past. Over the lockdowns of 2020 that unfortunately was the only way.
Way too short in places, rendering the system good for the bin as the base edge was exposed.
Or not at all and I paid for their service they didn't do. Basically...
A small section of the hair got stuck to the old melted tape when removing it.
I freed it by spray lace release on that area.
However I have sprayed copious amounts of lace release on it trying to get out the adhesive residue.
I shampoo'd it and it still remains.
Will I need to do a complete...
I've had more hiccups with custom hair systems. Colour mis match and density wrong despite sending in 1 inch hair samples of various areas of my bio hair.
And I cannot afford custom,as I don't have a job.
At the time borrowing money wasn't good.
I've had better luck with stock hair systems.
Just use daily wear tape if you want to do that.lol
Such as Walker Natural Hold(all base types) or Walker 1522(poly/thin skin bases only) daily wear tape.
As Jbonc is giving really bad advice. Which could make a hair system fly off in the wind like that.
Adding rubbing alcohol to the tapes...
NewLaceCU are hit and miss. Some people love them and others get crap systems,or nothing arriving at all.
HairHub are terrible for custom but fine for stock systems. Nice quality just stupid long wait times. Stock within a week though.
I had a custom from there that took 8 months to arrive,was...
SuperHairPieces you mean?
They are pretty good quality and very affordable too.
LaVivid isn't bad either.
LordHair just sucks. sh*t 'quality' since the pandemic and appalling customer services, items arriving months late.
The most tedious part of doing the hair system is getting the backing off the tapes.
Any tips for removing the backing easier without nails. Otherwise I'm picking for ages at the tape edge, from the piece I cut off the tape roll. Once it's started, I'll use tweezers to remove the backing.
But...
