I still don't know wether Caffeine causes hair loss or not so i stopped Alpecin ASL as a protective measure...

PowerSam i have been using Alpecin ASL (based on caffeine) for a long time.. after reading the above article i wonder if Alpecin causes hair loss istead of stopping it!

Sebamed everyday shampoo is GOOD. baby shampoos are crap and sometimes very harsh! just because a shampoo is organic or "natural" doesn't mean its good or gentle on hair.

With each application of Alpecin ASL you will add approx. 25 mg of caffeine to the scalp. a cup of coffee has approx. 50 mg caffeine so even if the caffeine is absorbed, its harmless. :wink:

YES , it can cause hair loss i had severe hair loss + extremely painful scalp from using Nizoral. if you have dandruff, use a mild anti-dandruff shampoo. Nizoral does not help with hair loss at all. Studies are crap.

rub potato on your head as u like and you will lose hair just like ppl who say i will pour coffee on my head since caffeine is good for hair. main ingredients in Phytoaxil are GSE and some kind of protein EXTRACTED from potato + others.

petemitchell: The shampoo is not that good. it dries the hair a bit but the treatment is Excellent (it has a strong odor, i dunno why but idon't mind as i use it at night) i didn't try the supplement, i'm using a multivitamin/mineral called Dynamisan.

i don't know about this product or the company , but anything containing "Piroctone Olamine" is excellent for hair loss and scalp health.
