Its called gyno and it is a side effect of finasteride. I started getting it after less than a month of using it as well and I quit immediately. I would suggest you do the same unless you want them to get even bigger. Gyno is about the only side effect from finasteride that doesnt go away when you quit. The only way to get rid of it is through surgery. But if you quit now, they shouldnt get any worse. Good luck.

Its called gaining weight. The only way to get rid of it is to diet and exercise. If you stay on Propecia now, and diet and exercise, it shouldn't get any worse. Good luck.

How do you know? Are you denying gyno is a side effect of finasteride? If the guy is only noticing weight gain in his chest then its probably gyno. I know mine is gyno because my right side is noticeably bigger than my left. If it was normal weight gain both sides would be equally fat. But then you're the admin of a website that receives money from advertising finasteride so you must be right...

How the hell do you know he has gyno? Are you a doctor? Have you done a proper evaluation? You just frantically tell him "Its Gyno!" and "Get off Propecia!" ... so are you going to take responsibility when he loses all his hair? The guy said his "boobs are getting floppy" basically. That isn't "Gyno". That is "Im getting fat". Gyno is nipple and lip sensitivity and pain and enlargement, followed by breast enlargement. Its *feminization*. Guys who are big enough that their chests are flopping in the wind have a weight problem to take care of long before they need to freak out and scream Gyno.

No, im introducing common sense and basic logic to this ridiculous conversation.

Yes, two guys in suits came to my door one day and said "Yo we are from Merck, if you EVER tell a user on your forum that his big titties are a result of gyno, we will pull ALL OUR sponsorship from this site".

Since then I have been terrified to say ANYTHING negative about Propecia!

Good thing they completely missed that entire thread I started about the horrible side effects I had on Propecia, or the 500+ times ive told people that I had to quit due to side effects.

gourmetstylewellness.com,

Did you have any possible gyno effects? I know when I was on it I had very sensitive nipples. Is this considered one of the beginning signs of gyno?

I don't know if my stuff was gyno related. I did avoid ridiculous alarmist freaking out methods however, and instead went to the doctor and had an estrogen test done. Im not much for scaring the sh*t out of people for no reason like draevin. My estrogen levels were extremely high, but my bodyfat has always been low because I am very active athletically. This is another important issue - guys with a lot of excess body fat are more prone to Gyno, from what I have been told. Guys with little body fat are less prone to it.

To answer your other question, yes, nipple pain and sensitivity and engorgement and swelling are signs of Gyno. Yes, breast enlargement is a sign of gyno. nooru - just go get an estrogen test and hit the gym.

my breasts have been getting bigger long time before startin finasteride, and i put on 13 lbs of weight since last janary, i got depressed bout hairloss and resort to comfort eating, lol. i started finasteride from sep 1st, and havn't been to the gym regularly like before. I better start goin gym, because my entire body is gettin fatter too :(
i dont have nipple pain n etc, so i think its me putting on weight, thats why i'm getting b*tch-tits.
