It's a losing battle, don't get transplant surgery

I'm 23 and I did a 1100 hair graft transplant surgery at 22. I can tell you I'm just as selfconscious about people noticing I had the procedure as I was about my hair loss. Now I'm still selfconscious about the hair loss, and the procedure. Does anyone who have a procedure NOT have this...

HAS AVODART WORKED FOR ANYONE? First no, now YES, with PIC!

I have not experienced a single side effect from Avodart, except shedding. I have noticed extreme fatigue/exhaustion halfway through the day in the past week, now that I am back on Propecia again since 3 weeks ago. This was the side effect I noticed throughout the year I was on propecia before...

HAS AVODART WORKED FOR ANYONE? First no, now YES, with PIC!

Re: HAS AVODART WORKED FOR ANYONE?????? Correct, I am doing REAL everything. Since Avodart is FDA approved for prostate, as long as you got insurance, it should only be a $15 copay for every 30 pills. However, I told my dermatolgist to double the dosage so that it's twice a day on the...

HAS AVODART WORKED FOR ANYONE? First no, now YES, with PIC!

Re: HAS AVODART WORKED FOR ANYONE?????? Hi Timi. I started Propecia 1mg in September 2006 and took everyday. Didn't notice much of anything either way hairwise, but did notice testicle pain every few days for an hour or so at a time, and exhaustion/tiredness I started Avodart 0.5mg in...

HAS AVODART WORKED FOR ANYONE? First no, now YES, with PIC!

Re: HAS AVODART WORKED FOR ANYONE?????? Update on me. I absolutely am certain that my front hairline has visibly thickened over the past 2 weeks. Now granted, I decided to go back on propecia daily (after having been on it a year, I stopped once I started 0.5mg avodart in september 2007)...

I'm Confused! Please help ASAP! Regarding RetinA/Rogaine

But neither your answer, nor any past posts using the search function explain how can Vitamin A be good to put in the hair, when Accutane has been proven to cause hair loss because of the vitamin a...so why wouldn't Retin-A do the same thing, despite it's androgen decrease, and higher allowance...

Buzzed my head...foam a good call?

I have been on the Rogaine Foam a week, applying it once each night after a shower. Twice I have done the Retin-A Micro 0.1% first..... I swear my hair has thickened....I know that's impossible?, but seriously, I don't think I will have that Rogaine Shed problem....I think I have survived...

I'm Confused! Please help ASAP! Regarding RetinA/Rogaine

Yes, I understand that it allows for better absorption of Rogaine, But Vitamin A is also being absorbed, which causes hairloss I thought! At least that's why Accutane causes it. Can you please assist?

I'm Confused! Please help ASAP! Regarding RetinA/Rogaine

Nobody knows why RetinA is being recommended, when it has Vitamin A in it, which causes hair loss?

    Rogaine foam Yes or No?

I'm hoping the 6 months of avodart is all the sheding I will see now that I have started rogaine. I dont think I will be able to stand a rogaine shed...hopefully all the hairs that were shed-prone happened with the avodart loss......

Anybody know if the RetinA Micro 0.1% is the same ???

Thank you for the information. One more question for you... I understand that Retin-A has an active ingredient that is a derivative of Vitamin A. Accutane causes hair loss because of the Vitamin A. So why is Retin-A effective with Rogaine? I understand it allows for better absorption, but...
