87david: Do you think the ppg free minoxidil is effective? Do you get any irritation from it? I have tried both 5% and 2% minoxidil and they both irritate my scalp so much that I cant use them. I am thinking of trying the ppg free minoxidil.

I have tried it. It did not do anything good for me. I used it for about 6 months. Back on Propecia, nizoral and tricomin.

Thanks. How do you know that it works? I am on propecia and nizoral. Nizoral helps but doesnt get rid of the itch and redness on the scalp, in fact in makes my scalp very dry.

Good to hear that you have succes with your minoxidil/finasteride. I hope this will happen to me also. Are you using 2% or 5% minoxidil?
