ACELL Looks promising!!! What do u guys think of this?

Re: Looks promising!!! What do u guys think of this? I'd probably wait at least 6 months, but I guess everyone's different. For me, I'll probably just get a normal FUE in the future and then a few years down the line get the autocloning procedure to make up for any more regression. By then...

ACELL Looks promising!!! What do u guys think of this?

Re: Looks promising!!! What do u guys think of this? I believe right now he's getting 1 hair per incision, but he's experimenting with getting 2-3 (ala a full graft) as well. For me it would still probably work well because I have thick black hair (Asian descent tend to have thicker hair)...

ACELL Looks promising!!! What do u guys think of this?

Re: Looks promising!!! What do u guys think of this? Obviously $10 is way too expensive for a mass market procedure, but this is basically the pre-release cost. This is something that Cooley isn't even advertising as a finished procedure yet, though we need to keep in mind this is just the...

ACELL Looks promising!!! What do u guys think of this?

Re: Looks promising!!! What do u guys think of this? I think it's important to note too that there isn't really a "physical" cost here. You're basically just paying for the doctor's time/skill but it's not like the hair itself costs anything since it comes from your own body. If I went to a...

ACELL Looks promising!!! What do u guys think of this?

Re: Looks promising!!! What do u guys think of this? That cost is still reasonable considering they're basically at all "pre-release" stage of development, this isn't even yet a finalized procedure. It's normal for a procedure like this to cost anywhere from 3x-5x as much early on (ie: Lasik...

ACELL Looks promising!!! What do u guys think of this?

Re: Looks promising!!! What do u guys think of this? It would be almost impossible to run out of plucked hair (provided the plucked hairs take) because you can pluck a hair several times before it dies out. That means basically you'd be able to transfer in theory all the hair from the...

    The % numbers

Another guy on the forums actually has had the plucked procedure done from Cooley (small test) a couple of months ago and was told 70%+ also.

    The % numbers

Whoops, sorry this was supposed to go in the Acell/Cooley thread, I guess I hit the wrong button or something. This is from Cooley himself on the forums:

    The % numbers

He's already getting 70%+ in regular recipient areas, the 40-50% number is for scar areas. Cooley expects the % for both to rise over time as well.
