    Miniaturization

No, it doesn't necessarily mean you have male pattern baldness.

New clinical trial intended to prove the Androgenetic Alopecia theory.

Well, the levels do correspond with male pattern baldness to a certain height. If you give balding men a DHT-inhibitor, the large majority of men will stop/slowing down hairloss (i thought i read somewhere 90% of men?) and some will even regrow hair. However they still have a small amount of DHT in their bodies...

New clinical trial intended to prove the Androgenetic Alopecia theory.

Re: I Broke the Mystery of Male Pattern Baldness Ok it could be they don't discount men in that sentence. Woman also have androgens but in lower amounts. But because propecia often doesn't work on female hairloss, it is very well possible there are other mechanisms involved in female hairloss...

New clinical trial intended to prove the Androgenetic Alopecia theory.

That conclusion that you cited was with regard to females developing baldness. And yes, i do believe there are other factors that can contribute to baldness, especially in women. Btw, it's not because people have PhDs they can't be wrong. I don't know about testosterone being converted inside...

No one wants another "am I balding", but... Am I balding?

I don't think you're balding yet. My brother also has a double crown so i know how it can give the effect where it seems you're balding.

    shedding for months plz help!

You can lose a lot of hair without going bald. I lose more than 30 hairs when i shower. It's normal to loose 50-150 hairs a day. I started losing a lot of hair 2 years ago after taking accutane but i still have the same amount of hair as i did back then.

Bald father - son having full head of hair

Well, my father is completely bald, as are all the men on his side of the family. On my mother's side both her father of 75 and her brother of 40 have full heads of hair. Me and my brother still have nice hair (although i'm a little paranoid about my right temple), but we're only 20-22 years...

New clinical trial intended to prove the Androgenetic Alopecia theory.

I don't really see why this study proves that DHT is not the direct cause of baldness. They transplanted human hair in mice. It's very probable mice have much lower levels of DHT than humans since they are much smaller. So it would be the same as transplanting the hair on a castrate (or a...

    HairBrah's Story

I'm not really an expert but it doesn't look like male pattern baldness to me. Maybe just a mature hairline. You should monitor it and see if it progresses.

    Intern's Story

Yeah, i agree with mosey. You don't seem to be thinning, can't really see clear signs of male pattern baldness. And looking at your family history i think you have a very good chance of keeping your hair. According to research, the mother's side is the most important in inheriting baldness. So if your granddad...

Shedding at temples(40 days with big3)

This was posted 29th April, you were looking at his registry date. Mosey, the question you are asking is obviously impossible to answer. I can't look into the future. Chances are big you will gain hair from using minoxidil. Kjetils, a lot of people shed when they start using the big 3. This isn't...
