Jared and Shannon Leto

These guys from my fave band 30 seconds to mars have different hairlines. Is it possible for someone like Jared Leto to have taken finasteride even though his evenutal hairloss would be minimal to prevent his hairline going like his brother's? Is Propecia that effective in people who would have minimal loss? I'm not saying that is the case with those two but using their hairlines as an example.

I also have a different hairline than my brother... Mine is more jagged, while his is more rounded and straigth. I don't think he is on finasteride...

Let's say if they were both born with the same balding gene, could finasteride make a different in hairlines similar to those two?
