I believe he had a car accident or something (don't quote me on that), but nothing to do with surgery so don't worry. Anyway FUE requires a steady hand a mucho concentration and I think after the accident he wasn't feeling up to it.
Hey mate, right before we can help you.......you'll need to asnwer a feq questions:
1/ How old are you?
2/ Are you on meds?
3/ What Norwood level are you?
As for Armani, I believe he no longer does FUE (please correct me if I'm wrong) but after his accident he's kinda put it on the...
1/ Ask about the closure method and for pictures of 'typical' donor scars that can be expected from previous patients. Understand that this does not mean YOU will ge the same result.
2/ Before and after pictures of patients, he should have some.
3/ Wether FUE or Strip, really go into the...
I don't know about Dr Martnick, I'll leave that one to Damo but the ones I do know of are:
Dr Cole: $8 per graft
Dr Wolf: $7 per graft above 1200 (sliding scale)
Dr Feller: $8 per graft lunctime session (approx 200 grafts), $10 all other times
There are others but I don't know them off hand.
Wise move mate, just one thing - don't put all the FUE Docs in the same bracket. I understand your feelings on Dr Woods but there are many top notch FUE Docs out there - Wolf, Cole, Feller etc etc.
Honestly mate, 250 grafts is not going to do a lot of good - you aren't going to notice much difference (my opinion) and give it a year and you'll probably want more. Propecia/Proscar DOES NOT halt hairloss - it merely slows it down for a large percentage of people, you will continue to recede...
Good luck to you both. After a bad experience with a UK Doctor (not Dr Rogers) I wouldn't trust anyone in this country with my head now. From what I've read Dr Rogers is by far and away the best UK surgeon although in travelling to the US you could get the worlds top Doctors to work on your head...
If you are intent on getting this done and intent on only 250 grafts then DO NOT GET ANY FORM OF STRIP PROCEDURE. Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) will suit your needs far better and will allow you to maintain a buzz cut (or as near as, depending on the scarring) if later required.
I should...
I think the point Mahair is getting at gents is that this 'nape' hair on your neck region is effectively outwith your safety zone - more prone to DHT and whilst they will give an authentic natural appearance, eventually they will die off like the rest of your hairs outwith your safety zone...
No reply yet, thats a bad thing probably. He normally seems to answer questions pretty quickly so when he doesn't that means he has to think about the answers! Just my take.
Regarding my next course of action - I think Dr Wolf is my best option. He's done repair, not seen many photos, but I'm...
Thanks Gillenator, its funny there are so many options but at the same time picking the correct one is the most important factor right now.
My concern at the moment is to sort the poorly placed grafts i.e. remove approximately 150 grafts around the frontal cm of my hairline - I'm presuming...
Thanks Gillenator, it is overwhelming - one question I do have is
1/ Regarding FUE as I understand the skill is in the placement of the graft (as in all hair transplant procedures) rather than the removal? Is this correct? I'm just wondering if I should use the UK Doctor - Doctor Rodgers to...
Hi there chaps, as some of you know I am exploring all options to sort my slightly problematic situation of a poor hair transplant done approximately one year ago. I've looked at all options and have considered FUE removal, further hair transplant, laser etc etc.
Just wondering if anyone was aware/had first hand...
Thanks Gillenator, I've also spoken to Dr Wong concerning my situation and he believes he can go some way to improving it through coring out some of the problematic grafts, suturing them shut and they should heal with minimal scarring. I could also encorporate a scar revision using the...
