i have been using since december and have experienced significant growth on the front.. the hair is a lot lighter in colour

I have been using Kirkland extra strength for about a month it says only apply to crown area is there any other types of minoxidil to apply to the other areas will it do anything if i use kirland at the front i.e. hairline

I'm 19 with a widows peak and thinning a bit at crown i currently use nioxin shampoo which is making my hair look thicker but will taking Finasteride do the same as propecia. Just curious as lot cheaper, are the chances of side effects about the same? Anyone done this with much results??
