What is the verdict on hairloss? Blood flow or genetics?

Is male pattern baldness a genetic sensitivity to dht.

Or is it due to lack of blood flow ( which also could be a genetic thing to do with the scalp )

I just see too much conflicting information. Are we ever going to know for sure?

Scalp tension, mainly due to tight muscles surrounding galea and less blood PRESSURE to get through ( yes the scalp has loads of blood if you cut it, this disproves nothing ) inflammation then DHT then hair loss follow in that order.

So basically your galea is injured and inflamed under the skin as it's being pulled down by tight muscles around the sides. There is less blood pressure on route to galea hair follicles malloclusion may play a part here also.

Like anywhere on the body, DHT arrives at the site of inflammation. It's a simple google to confirm this well studied fact. it's no different with the scalp, hence hair loss.

At this stage I'm staggered most people think it's down to genetics, unless of course that's the genetics of having a huge galea, poor posture, mouth breather, tight temporalis or whatever is the main culprit for someone's tight scalp.

But the arguement that some people have some specific hair that is prone to attack from DHT, is 'genetics' is bonkers. It doesn't half make a lot of money though.

Maybe learn to read, you can put as much blood as you want into scalp you ain't growing your hair back, it's a lot more complex as I've described above. Currently 40 yo, improvements seen last 3 years, zero meds, almost don't need hair fibres but was using them constantly 3 years ago.

Believe what you want and keep on coping, my comment was to the OP.

Or making loss of hair permently via the hormones that distrubte the hair healthy cycle..

ive no any sientific prof nor do i need one
the same as i see leaf faill from the tree everytime.i dont need sientific prof that it did hepend. Im.experinece it

There’s definitely a lot of conflicting information out there, but most research points to DHT sensitivity as the primary cause of male pattern baldness. It’s genetic—some people’s hair follicles are just more sensitive to DHT, which causes them to shrink over time (miniaturization) until they stop producing visible hair.

That said, blood flow and scalp health seem to play a role too. Some studies suggest that reduced blood circulation to the scalp can make things worse by depriving follicles of oxygen and nutrients. This might explain why treatments like microneedling, scalp massages, and low-level laser therapy (LLLT) can help some people.

At the end of the day, the most proven way to slow or stop hair loss is blocking DHT with medications like Finasteride or Dutasteride. But improving blood flow could be a helpful addition.

Would be interesting to see if future research finds a stronger connection between circulation and hair loss. What’s your take—do you think improving blood flow alone could prevent or reverse hair loss?

Its not about not grow
.they atille grow even bald guy has hair follicles on all hid head.they are just minturaztion and short so you cant see.

It can't, not well. If balding is diffuse and impacts upon hair quality, it will only get worse in the future. A lot of this hair is raggedy crummy hair that doesn't grow straight or long already. Moving it elsewhere just spreads around garbage. Only people with tiny amounts of hair loss, burns or scars or a perfect and high fringe area that appears impervious to DHT, should even consider a hair transplant. People with perfect unaffected very high fringe are the only folks who get amazing results and they are mostly already done balding prior to the transplants. Since the fringe in general does not bald further, these transplants tend not to get any worse or degrade overtime since the fringe doesn't. It's still mutilation and irreversible, expensive and painful and you look ridiculous for four to six months with blood and scars. Then six months arrives and you can't tell any difference at all and now you have permanently wasted viable tissue.

For all but the people with perfect quality, unaffected fringe, you are still balding and your hair and hairline will continue to worsen just like it would have otherwise but now you have to worry about the exposed scars and noticeable depletion from harvesting. I see a lot of Indians and Turks and Arabs getting these types of transplants and yes they do look marginally more attractive for as long as it stays but you can still tell that they are balding and that kind of crummy and low fringe hair is a ticking time bomb so one better sow ones male oats quickly before disaster!
