26 years old, minoxidil for about 3 years or more, finasteride 1 year.

i started minoxidil right when i noticed i could see some crown, started finasteride 2 years later or so once my hairline corners were moving back. (wish i started earlier)

really tough to tell how much its done for me as i kept my hair really short before finasteride. left side of my hairline is much more problematic than the right side, crown seems to be in pretty good shape.

its kind of curly so i just sweep it over to cover the left side. its manageable right now but still frustrates me and i hate not knowing if it will get worse/when.

All guys on the dad's side of my family have good hair in to their 60s, only male on my mom's side is her dad who passed away very young so i really have no pics to help gauge (assuming i got his hair genes)

i dont have baseline pics as i pretty much kept it buzzed before finasteride- what would you guys suggest? eventually, i would like to get work done on the front but im worried it will keep moving back there post hair transplant, or that crown starts thinning and then im really screwed.

the top 2 pics are of the left side exposed to show how bad it is- i never wear it like that and always comb it down/over but it has got pretty destroyed and that temple as well. this really is the problem as i feel like the bottom pics show my hair is not bad on the top/vertex/crown. just that damn left side :/

Your hair density on the mid scalp and vertex seems to be very good.

I wonder what your matter. You have no really options, just take finasteride/minoxidil until forever. A hair transplant could be an option, because it seems that you stabilised.

Yeah im okay with getting hair transplant work done and paying, also knowing i may need to have more work done in th future since im only 26.

I actually just made a post about this but im just worrie about being stuck on finasteride after hair transplant work and wanting to have kids. Probably something ill discuss with my Doctor.

Once i get hair transplant work i cant even consider taking off finasteride for a little bit or god knows what could happen up top there
