1 year on propecia and unhappy, not sure what to do

Last year I started noticing my hair thining. From this site, I was told it was never to early to start Propecia...even though those close to me said they noticed virtually no change in hair. After 1 year on propecia, (mostly in the past 3 months) I notice more hair loss, thining on the typicala bald spot area on the crown (i feel the circle) and the temples are receeding more. My hair is not growing back fast at all after a hair cut either.

Question is, what to do now. I started early when I had a good head of hair and I still have hair...so is propecia necessarily not working? Or is it just slowing the process? who knows...but I just feel this time NEXt year, I will be partly balding and receeded further back.

I haven't used rogain yet because i know it's not a solution but more of a stop gap issue. Guess i am almost ready for that.

Anything else? I use head and shoulders and also used nizoral for most of the year. Is nizoral a req? or is HandS good enough?

Any advice where to go from here?

bring out the big guns... dutasteride+fluridil
atleast, that's what i'd do if my treatment wasn't working.

Also, is nizoral that important, or is Head and shoulders an acceptable alternative?

I don't use min yet because i want to see if finasteride alone will work for a while...when i start showing bald spots then i fit the min. Since t's a once you start you never stop process and more than just popping a pill.

Ive been using head and shoulders intense dandruff control and it has been working really really well in conjuction with the Nizoral.
