You're not right bro. This guy is for sure diffuse thinning. However, his situation isnt really bad and he still has a good head of hair. When I first joined here and read some posts of him, I got the feeling he's in a much worse situation with visual bald spots on his head. Also when I remember right, his family history of hair loss is really fucked up (like mine) so he has some legit reasons to worry about his hair situation.

@manda and @Allen Li are right. Im diffuse thinning on the entire norwood 6 area. I shed tons of hair per day for a year now and the hairs grow back thinner. Before hairloss I wouldnt lose any noticable amount of hairs in the shower. Also, I lost a lot of density on my hair. The thing is my baseline was really good. I had extremely good density before starting to bald.
I know where the situation is heading as everyone on my dads side of the family is bald. My dad was already a nw6 at my age and same with my paternal grandfather (dont know when he went bald but it was def before his 30s). On my moms side all uncles are bald or balding.
I wish you were right but trust me im balding pretty badly considering where I was even a year ago. When I look at my hair grown out in the mirror I sometimes cant even recognize its my hair anymore because thats how much density ive lost in just 1 year.
Does your mothers father have snd balding or receding?

This is the fucked up thing. My mothers father died at 48 with barely any hairloss. He only lost hair because of cancer. There are pictures of him at 40 and he has a f*****g amazing head of hair with 0 recession or thinning. None of his sons got that gene as they all have some type of thinning or balding. But from what my mom tells me her moms dad was bald and also her uncles (maternal uncles and paternal uncles).
On my dads side though its pretty much guaranteed baldness by age 30.
I still have good hair. I am 22 turning 23 this month. Some thinning and a noorwood 1.5. My uncle on my mom side is about a noorwood 3 with some thinning. Its not bad though. He is in his mid 40s. My grandpa on mom side is about a noorwood 6. My dad and all his brothers from what i remmeber have very good hair.

I think you are better off than I am
My hair is wet in 1 photo 1 is dry. I surpriseley. Only show some scalp on the crown when wet. Everything else looks pretty full. There probaly is very slight thinning in the front though.

Hopefully with finasteride you can keep that for a long time. As of right now if I can get my hair to where yours is id be happy.
How is libido on finasteride? I feel like mine cut in half.
I havnt had any decreased sex drive on it. I have very high sex drive lol.

Hey thanks for keeping up with my progress. I recently went and got a fade on the sides and back because the top was looking noticably thinner than back and sides a bit. Looks much better now. Hair is still thin on top but I dont think anyone can tell I am balding yet. Ill post new pics in the coming few weeks.
How many weeks of growth is it on top?
