12 Months Minoxidil 4 Months Finasteride. Keeps Getting Worse, Any Advice?

Yeah I mean I have a fukload of early NW6-7s in my family lol so it was bound to happen. But they are all way more hairier than me in terms of body/facial hair.

What kind of foods do you eat, what does your diet look like. Im pretty sure diet has very little impact on male pattern baldness, but curious.

I eat really clean now man. Dont drink or smoke. Eat mostly plant based but with salmon and other fish. I also don't consume dairy products. It doesnt matter for me man I have too much very young baldness in my family. Luckily finasteride does work for me but I also do get sides so idk. Its pretty depressing.

I went 100 percent plant based when I started first receding but didn't help. I eat like you currently, lots of spinach, rice, other veggies. I will sometimes have pizza on rare occasion or other meats. I drink chocolate milk post workout but that's it for dairy. You're getting sides? Ive been on 4 months now not a single side effect, if anything my sex drive is insanely through the roof. What kind of sides you getting if you don't mind me asking, and how long on finn?

6 months on finasteride now. Just started getting sides this month like low libido. Possibly gyno it seems like too.

Was really stressing out today, went to get a haircut. Ended up getting a buzzcut. I don't understand, is my male pattern baldness really that aggressive? 4 months of Finasteride completed, over a year of rogaine, 4 months of them together. My hair just gets worse. My hairline continues to recede and thin out and get higher. Should I just accept it and move on, quit everything? Or should I keep going? Might I get better results by 1 year of finasteride?

current hairline. 2018/11/27. After haircut number 2 guard buzz. left side more recessed. right side maybe got better. at this point im maintaining a hairline i hate having, and hate trying to style. Am i ever gonna get regrowth?
Ive added light derma rolling sessions to my regiment.
current: 5% minoxidil, 1mg finn daily before bed. dht blocking shampoo with ketoconozole daily. head massages. microneedling with derma roller

By looking at the 2017 pic with a shaved head I’d say you’ve had amazing regrowth but then lost a little ground, not much. That was probably min right?
You’re one of the very lucky ones. You look really good with a shaved head.

I actually don't shed much at all in the shower, I rarely ever have hair fall out. When I first started receding, I did lose lots in the shower though.

Tbh it looks thicker than before and I say give it a year. I've heard it takes up to two years in some cases...but tbh you look good with the Shaven look too. Your head suits it just fine....good luck

Are you taking these pictures with portrait mode or some kind of effect? It looks kinda rubbed which can make it look thicker than it actually is. In these 2 photos i see some vertex thinning there man that looks a lot similiar to what I have.

Its just the photo, I don't think I have any vertex thinning, ive been using rogaine on my hairline for over a year before finasteride. Also, I had just shaved my head, so it was really short. Also its almost 6 months on finn now, so It should have taken care of any vertex thinning hopefully. Its also lighting, that picture was be right up to the mirror with bright lights.

Tomorrow will be the 23rd. will mark 6 months, will post new pictures tomorrow. Im starting to see some regrowth and thickening of the hairline. Still nothing crazy but I think im making progress. Crazy thing is, the only side effect I had was watery semen and I only noticed it once. I haven't had watery semen since. It happened maybe 4 months in. Other than that, ZERO sides. My sex drive is through the roof, morning wood regularly. NO issues with libido. so far so good : D
