growing up at the beach i was always the kid with all the girls who was good looking and was the popular guy. Not to brag but from 13-16 i had long blonde surfy hair with tanned skin and i always ha dnon-stop girlfriends
but for about a year now my hair has been receding alot. for the first 6months i took it as a joke and even put sh*t on myself about it to my mates. But lately its just gotten out of hand and i get really self conscious out in public and im even getting depressed i havent had a girlfriend in a year and i dont get the same attention i used too

I just recently signed up for the 8 months REALgrowth program at ashley and martin and hopefully this will get my hair back. The consultant said because im so young that i will definately get my hair back and thicken it up alot. i still have my doubts. But ill do this program and if i get no results ill get my money back anyway with the gaurantee they offer.
anyone have similar stories they encountered and got over it. because im scared ill be the old lonely guy with no kids and no life when im older ahaha

yea i have a pic here

Get your guarantee papers ready since there is no 100% way to get you hair back. Propecia, minoxidil + some other stuff are the only way to minimize or possibly reverse hairloss. And you don't need to pay other companies to give you those two and pay through your nose.

if you have tanned skin at least your halfway to being able to pull off the shaved look.. (unless your head is shaped like an egg)

unfortunately, those programs are overpriced and dont give u what u want. you're better off sticking around here and getting advice from fellow baldners. get on finasteride asap if you're over 18 or if you're sure you've stopped developing. also get on nizoral. and i'd highly recommend the scalp exercises. the guy who 'created' them has a story similar to yours, i'd have a look! but that's my advice, spend less time going to derms or those expensive programs and more time on forums like these with advice from people going through the same thing.

Good to see another scalp exerciser! Most people on here thinks it's completely whack. It probably is, but hell, it definitely can't hurt.

i know theres no 100 percent way but he offered me a guarantee.. at least i have that if it fails.. id rather spend $3000 and get professional help and treatments the proper way instead of buying it myself not knowing what to do with it.. i think at ashley and martin will work. The consultant showed me about 50 sets of pictures of people who have got there hair back.and i have heard ashley and martins products do work but they are a rip off. i dont mind money is not an issue i just want my hair back asap.. if it does work ill basically have a full head of hair because where its receding the hair is not dead there are still many white hair folicles which will thicken up

Sorry guy but dont fet your hopes up for a full head of hair growing back. IT WILL NOT HAPPEN. Also why pay these guys when you could get the products yourself without them adding on their commision fee.

There's two ways you can now go down your life : Complete vanity and never really beening too secure with yourself for an extended period of time. Or try to overcome this 'affliction' and be generally more happy.

Guess u cant do anything about that now. But after that is finished you will still need to use their or similar products for as long as you wish to hold off hair loss / get regrowth (as much as possible). Its best you learn what these products/treatments are and how you can get them cheaply, so you can spend your money on other (and dare I say it "more important") things in life.

What you need to know though, and perhaps they will not tell you, is that even if you get good results, you will need to continue treatments if you want to maintain what you ve got. I dont know what drugs you take, but if guess right its minoxidil and finasteride so many of us here take the same, only it cost us a lot less. So make sure they tell you all the truth, and stick up with those treatments even when the 8 month program ends.

Hey aussie_dude,

I will be honest. This doesn´t look good for someone who is only 17 years old. It is very hard to regrow this with the treatment that are available to us. Sorry, but I think you should face the truth. Considering your age you should go for a topical regime consisting of minoxidil, spironolactone and Nizoral shampoo and add finasteride in a few years when you are grown out. Good Luck!

Stopping it is possible, but you should not expect to get all your hair back. Have a nice day

Well the dermatologists can go suck donkeys balls if they want. Fact is there is no way to stop hairloss right now period. You can slow it down and if you are extremly lucky you can have a good regrowth. But you can forget the hair you had before. I haven't seen a single picture of a person who regrew his straight hairline completely and I've seen a lot of pictures.

So all you can do is start taking propecia + minoxidil + spironolactone cream + nizoral and pray to god that you're a good responder. And save the money those f*cks are taking from you because if they could restore your hair they'd be as big as Bill Gates. And Bruce Willis would have John Bon Jovis 80's hair.
