Aussie dude, Tuagenichts was just giving you the truth. You obviously have yet to learn that when it comes to m.p.b salesmen will tell you exactly what you want to hear in order to get you to sign up. (and yet will not offer a gaurantee).
Listen to the older guys who have been there. Treatments in general can help to halt/slow down further loss in many cases but looking at your pics I can tell you now you will not get back the hairline that you had a few yrs ago.

Hey aussie_dude,

I will be honest. This doesn´t look good for someone who is only 17 years old. It is very hard to regrow this with the treatment that are available to us. Sorry, but I think you should face the truth. Considering your age you should go for a topical regime consisting of minoxidil, spironolactone and Nizoral shampoo and add finasteride in a few years when you are grown out. Good Luck!

Im concerned about this "growing out", Im 23 but do believe I havnt fully "filled out" yet, if that makes sense. I mean Im really thin. Im about to start finasteride, will this affect any weight/mass I can put on?

Sorry I dont mean to hi-jack the thread

No it will not. I read a study that concluded finasteride has no affect on the anabolic properties of DHT. I'll try and find it again.

I can´t give you an answer. I am fully developed so I have nothing to worry about, it is just what everybody else tells teenagers. Maybe Snowrider22 finds out more.

In my oppinion if you are old enough to start going bald you are old enough to start taking finasteride.

Yes, that´s true Apoc. If I was 17 and balding I would give a f*** about whether finasteride was good for me or not. All I wanted to do then would be trying to stop hair loss and so take finasteride. But everybody has to make his own decisions....

Well, I'm only a little past that age and must admit that the prospects of a ruined body due to finasteride could very possibly override any desire to have hair. This shouldn't prevent you from taking the drug to begin with if you're particularly concerned about your early hair loss. But if it is having a severe adverse effect on your body, one should be able to stop it in the name of a good system over good cosmetics.

LOL you must be the biggest moron on this board. Not only are you completely uneducated you are also incredibly stupid. But don't let me stop you, go ahead and throw away several thousands of $ for your treatments. I'll be laughing in a year when you will be crying on this board how you got scr*wed.

I'd be more than happy to say it to your face but unfortunately I'm not spending 1k$ to go to australia for this. So enjoy your ignorance dumbas*.

Aussie dude why dont you return to this forum when you've grown up a bit?
People come on here to seek advice and share knowledge. You are a 17 yr old who does'nt know 5hit about hairloss, whilst many of the guys on here have bitter experience behind them. And when it comes to m.p.b many of us DO know more than derms who mainly deal with skin complaints and just try to flog expensive treatments to gullible suckers like yourself. I've never seen someone who is so ungrateful for the help that people have offered. You are obviously just a spoiled little rich kid who's too used to getting his own way and starts abusing everyone who wont tell him what he wants to hear.

Aussie, I got advice from places like Advanced Hair Studios initially who have people there who know so little its unbelievable. I could tell I already knew more than them after only a couple of weeks reading up. They they want to charge you extortionate amounts of money for very little and any guarantee will have small print all over it to get out of it..its just like insurance..they just want you to sign then when your in they don't care.

Advice from this forum I have found better than anything as there is no Sales spin..its real people with real results and experiences.

If you do anything, listen to the experienced ones here as they have better knowledge than anyone in those hair companies who just want your money. At the end of the day you want your hair, guys here won't just save your money but give you the best chance of getting your hair back. So get reading on here....

you came on here asking people for advice, they gave it, you abused them. Interesting method.

Ashley and martin ARE rip-off merchants, their money back guarantee relates to giving you $3000 off your hair wig at the end of 8 months! Or they'll find a way to say you didn't follow the programme. Miss one appointment over 8 months, or come in a day late to collect your products and legally, you won't have followed the programme and you will not qualify for the money back...

please come back here in 8 months and let us know how it goes.

Supportr for Aussie Guy

Hey Aussie Guy, I have tried A&M too in Sydney.

I also did not find out about this website of knowledge till after I visited A&Martin.............. and paid...............heavily...............very heavily.

Like you, I also just wanted hair and was happy to pay for it (at the time). I have just finished the Ashley and Martin 9month program and I gots to say MAJOR SUCCESS. I have no pics to show u but I was definitely just like the the 50 examples they showed you of success stories.

I think the trick is now, like me, follow the program through (since u have paid for it) but when you finish the initial program and they invite you back into the office and ask if you want a coffee and biscuit and pull out the RE-ENROLLMENT PROGRAM costing 1000's again, thank them for there time and bid the good day..... never to return and start following the advice and knowledge tree in this forum.
I have not chosen which direction to take as yet, but I can tell you its not with A&M. Like someone posted earlier..... you don't need them to give you the tools to fight your slice-0-devon.

good luck
