17m male pattern baldness - Should I Order Minoxidil?

So yes.. I've been balding since around 15. I started balding as soon as puberty ended. Thats how my life is. Should I order minoxidil online? In that case, what should I specifically look for?

I know there are side effects with it, and I have read a lot about it. Im currently not taking any meds for the hairloss, but I know that it's now or never, and I need help from somebody. My doctor definitely didnt seem interested in finasteride when I visited him, and he didn't seem to care much about my issue sadly. I live in Norway.. Please any suggestions? I dont know if my parents would like me to use minoxidil.

You should tell your doctor confidently that you are interested in finasteride, and don't take 'no' as an answer.

I did tell him that. But he said there was a lot of side effects with it such as the thing down there and facial hair. He said you keep your hair but it's on the cost of other things.

You should definitely see another doctor, you need to tell him that you're aware of the side effects. Personally, my doctors are willing to put me on anything I want, even estrogen or androcur...

Woah wish I had your doctors. Here in my country, or at least my area, they are very strict. It's like the 1 or 2% that get side effects are the whole population.

B's. Fear mongering finasteride if taking correctly start with low dose and move up as needed will not cause any sides....but you are young so could be still developing but younger usually respond better...goodluck

idk if I even will be allowed to get it. but I will try with another doctor next time. if he denies it, I might have to think about something else.
