Hey what's up everyone it's been a while. So busy over here.

I just wanted to drop in and say after 18 months i'm a NW7. Actually, no, I think I have noticed my hairloss slowing down.

I haven't regrown any hair but, I have noticed less and less hairs in the sink and the shower. I have to say I'm pretty excited that I'm at least slowing things down. My frontal hairloss is still progressing but at a much slower rate than before. My shedding has slowed a whole bunch and for the last month I haven't notice my hair thinning like it used to. I'm going to give my brute force approach another 4 months before decided wether or not to expirment with Fluridil in order to hopefully reduce or even reverse my frontal loss a bit.

I've been on dutasteride for almost 6 months now.

For the last 3 months I have been on Xandrox 15%.

My Regimen:
1mg Finasteride + 0.5mg Dutasteride every day.
15% Xandrox at Night
5% Xandrox in the Morning
Nizoral every other day.

That is one serious regimen...

You deserve all the results you get with that level of dedication.

What's the general opinion on fluridil? I heard the manufacturers choose to describe it as a 'cosmetic' product?

The Big Bad Three.

Good news, that combo ought to grow hair on a football.

notice how you only started to club DHT over the head when you changed your avatar.

hey bomb, are the xandrox 5% and 15% worth it. I had been using minoxidil on my hairline, but didnt experience great results. I started finasteride and my hairline has worsened greatly (but will probably regrow some). Anyways, I just ordered xandrox 5%. and i am considering the 15% at night? what do you say?

Sorry I didn't mean to confuse you. I was being a bit sarcastic. I'm a diffuse thinner and more or less an NW1 with thinning across the top.. worse in the front.

The only reason i use "xandrox" is because I have an allergy to Propylene Glycol and they have a PG free forumula. I dont think the 5% forumla is necessarily better than minoxidil, but I think the 15% forumla is great. It's cool to have an extra-strength version of minoxidil. It's even better if there are some days if you can only apply once at night.

I would say if you haven't seen any results after 6-8 months of using 5% on your hairline you should give 15% a shot.

Going from plain minoxidil to Xandrox

Has anyone gone from regaine for many years and then gone to xandrox and experienced shedding?

I have been on minoxidil for ages and have switched to xandrox 5% and now am shedding like buggery.

Can anyone relate, or even better, explain why i am shedding not from minoxidil but from the azelaic acid?

lol....yep

xandrox is by dr lee and has minoxidil 5% and also another active ingredient which is azelaic acid, a "DHT inhibitor".
