18 years old and diffuse thinning, help!

I've always shed hair for as long as I can remember, when i was very young i used to think of it as a game and try to make as many hair come out as possible, i would shed a lot, but hair was still thick and hairline was intact.

Then last year it completely stopped shedding, hair got very thick and full, I had to cut it often, I had too much hair.

Now 5 months ago it all started again, hair falling from all over the scalp, sides, behind my ears, back, crown, hair line, ALL OVER THE SCALP!! :/

But this time my hairline is receeding ( i went from Norwood 1 to Norwood 2 in 5 months ) and my hair is thinning out all over the scalp, I can't style it anymore, cause the scalp becomes visible..


How to stop diffuse thinning? Is it okay to use propecia and rogaine at 18 years old? I'm a late bloom, didn't hit puberty till 16, have no hair on my body , and my penis got about an inch longer in the past 5 months. I don't know if that info is necessary but the point is i dont think im done puberty.

What should I do? help!

You should go easy on fapping, keep your eye on hair and visit a dermatologist.

I would wait til you're finished growing before you start on finasteride. You could try minoxidil for now. But going from Norwood 1 to 2 is not abnormal for someone going through puberty. A male's hairline typically recedes at that time, and a Norwood 2 is more a mature hairline rather than a receding hairline. But definitely see a dermatologist.

I saw a dermatologist, he perscribed me a shampoo called "clearly natural, essentials, natural shampoo" and also a bottle of hair wax called " coconut oil formula" YOU GUYS WON'T BELIEVE HOW MUCH THOSE 2 COST, that **** cost so much I couldn't bought a new skate board and new skate shoes with it. scum bag pharmacies stealing money off me, so pissed off :/ and im sure these won't even work
