18 Years Old And I Don't Know Whether I'm Balding Or My Hairline Is Just Maturing Help!!!

I'm 18 years old and I don't know if I'm balding or if my hairline is just maturing I'm currently not taking anything to combat it. I do know that my mom's father is bald I believe he is a Norwood 6 and my father has no hairloss that I know of maybe a bit of recession but that's about it if anyone can please help me out I'd very much so appreciate it

You're looking fine dude. I'm 18 as well and your hairline is definitely better than mine. You might be looking at some regression in a few years or so, and when that happens you could take propecia but until then don't worry about it.

if your really losing hair there is no mistaking it. You will see a bald spot and it will gradually get bigger. At that point your sure do something. Otherwise life is too short to worry about imaginary problems

I know you guys said that there seemed to be no HairLoss however I thought I should show what my temples look like wet does anything look out of the ordinary? I feel like the left side has receded a bit i notice it when it's wet more than when it's dry that's why I thought I should share... I appreciate all input and all opinions in advance thank you guys

Haha seems to be a lot of broncos fans on here. Also it looks like you have long hair in the photos you posted. I had long hair the past couple years, but recently cut it after graduating college a few weeks ago. I think shorter hair hides any recession better than long hair.

Honestly I know you guys keep saying that nothing is wrong but I feel like my hairline is receeding or has receeded some I don't know if it's natural for you hair to receed any at all I've read a lot about what people say mature hairlines are but it's still a form of male pattern baldness right?? I don't know I'm just worried I've notice my hair was thinning on the sides of my head and temples shortly after my 18th birthday but I don't know if it was because I tend to dye my hair quite often I don't know but here are some more pictures of my hairline for you to observe all feedback is appreciated thank you very much

Looks fine at the moment, don't worry about it just enjoy your life. You can check on your hair in like 6 months to see if it has worsened but it's fine atm man

Dude you've got BDD, just like I do. Although everyone on here is telling you that you're completely fine you'll keep finding flaws about your body. Trust us, you're fine. If you don't believe these guys, go see a dermatologist but i'm afraid you'd hear the same thing these guys are telling you.

I don't know, try applying some tea tree oil, minodoxil, 2 cups of green tea daily (consumed), are you having more body hair? is your voice more hoarse? Look at these honestly and if you think you are losing hair then do what I recommended. For me, I'm sorry it does, you can see that your hairline is thinning and so are you temples. Sure no hair loss right now, but best to be on the safe side.

is there a difference in normal temple recession and temple thinning tho? I mean honestly I have noticed my hair at my temples are thinner and a bit shorter however I figured it was just my hairline maturing because my frontal hairline seems to be strong and so far my oldest brother just has a simple recession like it matured so maybe that's what mines doing??

But I've noticed the extent of the thinning is a bit worse on my left side at the moment I started to use biotin because I thought maybe it was from all the dyes and bleach I had put in my hair over the past year and I don't know where to get minoxidil if I need it
