18 Years Old Cowlick Or Balding

Hello Everyone.
As it's written in the title I'm an 18 years old male and I'm very confused about whether I'm balding or not. It's been 14 months since I haven't had my haircut.Approximately 6 or 7 months ago I noticed a thinning on the crown area of my hair.I worried a lot about it but did nothing to learn what it was.I've been monitoring it since I noticed and it seems like it hasn't progressed and even it has,it's not possible to realize it.

Photo 1-2 and 5 were taken using camera flash.By the way,I've always had fine and thin hair since my childhood. Thanks in advance :)

fairly confident you have absolutely no hairloss to speak of. Trust me, I posted pics on this site 6 years ago thinking I had crown loss. I didn't and I still don't. Your hair is fine.

Thanks for responding.I'll see a specialist as soon as possible.I also wonder if I start taking 1mg Finasteride everyday can I keep my hair for a long time.

Obviously it's a difficult one but it sort of does look like the early stages of male pattern baldness. Of course see a hair specialist asap.

Thanks everyone for posting.I know that's a silly question but if I begin taking Finasteride 1mg everyday with minoxidil can I preserve my hair for a long time at this level?I don't have sufficient knowledge about hair loss and hair loss treatment products.I'll see a dermatologist asap.

What the hell? He doesn't seem to have any hairloss, at least not frontal like you're claiming. Crown also looks fine to me.

I wouldn't listen to people on here telling you that you have receded. It's impossible to tell from those pictures and you should see a doctor if you are concerned and they can tell you. But the crown just looks like a cowlick to me. Very unlikely that you are balding so relax a bit, but like i say see a specialist if you are worried.
