18 Years Old Thinking About Starting Finasteride

hello everyone
I’m 18 year old boy and in the past few months I’ve noticed that my hair has thinned and my temples have receded a bit
I’m also shedding a lot and it bugs me
I’m currently using minoxidil 2% and caffeine shampoo
I’m thinking about starting finasteride
What do you guys suggest me to do?
Am i old enough?
Will it do me any good
Btw there’s no hair loss in my family only my grandmothers brother, from the father side.

Now would be a great time considering your hair loss is minor.

Now would be a bad time considering your age.

I say do it. At 18 you’re not going to grow much anyway. If you can wait a year or two without it getting much worse, that’d be better. If you believe it’ll get worse soon, I’d say get on it.

Nastavi da koristis minoxidil... Uopste se ne vidi da ti je pocela da opada, a i mislim da imas ono sto se zove "mature hairline" odnosno kosa ti se malo povlaci pozadi kako postajes stariji. Za godinu dana pogledaj ove slike i znaces da li je uznapredovalo ili ne

What @Aleksa97 said. I would have started finasteride at 18 had I known about it, but I started at 19 instead. finasteride is a fairly safe drug compared to all the other hair loss drugs, you will be fine. Most likely.
