There is a recession in a temple areas. Your left pic is close to NW2 stage.

Looks like very early stages of male pattern baldness to me. Good news is, IF it is male pattern baldness, you caught it nice and early, with finasteride you can enjoy great hair for possibly decades to come.

It can... But it's quite rare. And if it does, then any ED will go away when you quit tthe drug or sometimes if you just stay on it it goes away. Most people never get these problems. I didn't. Go see a hair loss specialist and have them look at you, if it's male pattern baldness then don't worry, just try it. If not then happy days! your temple point looks a bit male pattern baldness ish to me

The right side of my hairline is more recessed as well. I don't think it is as uncommon as you would think.

I also noticed that my hair is doing the same thing. Not sure if I'm just over thinking though.

i guess ive been quite the hypochondriac for most of my life so that could be a part of this, upon looking at old photos ive seen my hairline has stayed fairly consistent and im even seeing new hair growing in.

you hair density seems normal, since you are still 19; you hairline might be maturing and stay like this for your entire life, but there's also the probability of further but slow thinning over the next years. You should pay attention to it and treat it if you see further thinning ;)

Yeah, that is normal in terms of one side being more receded than the other, That is what happened to me, my right temple was the best side at 17 (barely receded) and left side was worse now at 19 the right side has receded more than the left side. So unfortunately it will catch up and possibly end up worse.

Now I wish that I had the "barely receded" side back.

I also would love to shave my head again too but because of the recession my whole face looks odd now compared to when my hairline wasn't receded and I HATE it, That is what annoys me most about a receded hairline.

If only I could have the NW0 hairline back again, I would feel and look normal with a buzzed head.
