Hey guys, I am a 25yo Asian diffuse thinner all over my scalp (except donor area and sides) and my hairline is receding. I am currently on dutasteride and rogaine foam. I started to use both exactly 60 days ago and today I got my first haircut after I started the treatment.
Although I apply rogaine only once a day before I go to bed. I noticed today I have some vellus hair in temple. I am pretty sure they weren’t there before I started rogaine.
(So far I have zero side effect)
I had terrible shedding phase since Week 2 (double or triple amount of hair falling compare to before treatment ) and it lasted till last week. I still shed tho but not the same amount as shedding phase.
So here is my question, vellus hair in my temple area, is this a sign that rogaine is working?
If so, do you guys think that I can see some positive result in diffuse thinning area from rogaine in a near future?
