aren't you norwood 4 and 5'7 as well? i recall you saying it before

and well it is valid if i feel 5/10 girls (which is what i wud generally get as a 5 of course) aren't worth it, especially when i remember that if i'd have kept my hair, i wud have been able to get 6 and 7s without working out and getting a six figure salary

Funny how people hijack the post on almost every topic here. But anyways all of you are entitled to your opinion. I do think Fred and hellouser are correct to a certain extent because hair loss does suck and leaves you terribly disadvantaged in the field of dating or women up to the fact that you will always struggle to get a reasonably good woman. Of course like Merc said that you can always try and it's not the end of it all but at the end of the day you have to try a lot harder than every other guy with hair and compensate with stuff like money, status and grooming yourself to the best.

I am 5'7" and was quite average looking to begin with (maybe 5/10). I feel hair loss will take me down to a 2/10. The only improvement is I've got braces which will fix my teeth by the time I'm completely bald which will take me to 2.5 or 3/10. However I am studying hard atm and working out and trying to do my best to compensate. And well there's a saying in my language that 'the world survives just on hope' so keep hoping.

sounds like it looks really bad, shave it off, really, people judge guys with combovers more than shaved bald buys.

I swear to GOD you must be a majority share holder in BIC.... this is your answer to everything lol

OP it is time, time to take the beaten path that lies ahead of you, the road that goes ever on and usher in a future darker than anything you can ever imagine. I will not say, do not weep, for not all tears are an evil, but it is time, time to come on home.

why?

also are you indian or arab? just wondering cuz ur hair was black in the pics you posted

funny cuz i always imagined u as a wonder bread white guy haha. prolly cuz of ur avatar xD

Why? Because why the hell would you do that? Yeah I know NW6 sucks, but grown out NW6? C'mon I don't think you would do that to yourself.

No not Indian or Arab. Not that I think there is anything wrong with that. I actually wouldn't mind a little color.

You don't overcome baldness, its not a personal issue, its a societal problem that pegs you as a bottomfeeder. You can believe and exude the total opposite, but it won't change society's view of you. You don't win with baldness.

broo i really think these hairloss chemicals got to your head.. balding isnt the end of life.. its one thing off your mind once its done... i know its hard especially when ya still got hair but bro just take this time that youre wasting on these forums and go use it on something productive.. go make yourself some money, get yourself a car, a nice tan, get built.. ill guarantee youll get chicks man no matter how ugly you are.. especially if you're past age 28.. bald is acceptable after that age IMO.. ok maybe more like 30 but still... believe me when i worked at a grocery store this summer i really noticed all the hot girls were with a baldy mc bald bald.. so all worried man... but im not knocking anyone who is trying to beat balding genetics as i am too... and if i were to lose my hair id be damn sad about it for a month maybe even 2 but its really not the end of anything.

Admittedly, being 21 is not an awesome age to lose hair. I really struggled with that too (my loss started at 23). But, as I'm 5 months away from being 29, I'm easing into an age where it's not so unusual to have hair loss, which certainly is easier.

But what should you do? Cut your hair short. If you're not in shape, be in shape. Don't need to be jacked, but you need to be fit, and strong. Not only will you look better to others, you will feel better and you will exude that feeling, which others will sense. I've gone through working out and non-working out pahses in my life so many times, but it never fails that when I start working out, swimming, running, lifting, and just busting my *** in the gym period--that I feel great, and it's always a welcome surprise. At this point, it's like reuniting with an old friend.

If you've never had someone push you hard to condition or work out (i.e. sports teams), you may need some group classes to make sure you work out hard enough. I know for myself that I am usually not able to push myself as hard on my own as I do in a class or group setting.

You need to find something you're good at and hone in on it. Pick up the guitar, keyboard, or some drums. I mean, this is advice even hair people should heed, but overall, you need to find an outlet. Something you can be good at, share with other people, and be in community.

Like I said, 21 is a rough age to lose hair, I will give you that. It may in all reality take some time for you to get a bit older and let the women you are going after mature up a bit. Or just start looking for older women. The upside for you is that you're not overweight, and you're certainly not ugly. I can't find your pics anywhere other than your profile pic, so I don't know what your hair looks like. You said you're broke, I'm not sure how to help you with that. I was broke until I was about 24 or 25, and got a good job where I was in control of my income. But I had always planned on making good money, more money than I need to survive and still set aside some dough for savings, investments, and buying any stupid sh!t I might want. It helps to dress well too--look good, feel good. Combine that with being fit and strong, you'll be a double threat (look good, feel good. Feel good, look good).

Above all, you have to exude a positive, charming personality. Don't try to fake it, and force it. You have to find a way to feel good about yourself, so that when you have a giant smile plastered on your face, it's genuine.

One of the best compliments I ever received from a girl had nothing to do with the watch I was wearing, or my shoes, or my shirt, or my hair (which was pretty well gone by this point), my car or my condo. It was NYE 2012, a couple of my best friends were in town staying at my place downtown, I had just gotten off a long day at work, and we had a couple drinks, then busted out the the bars. Of course I was a little buzzed, but I was out on the floor, dancing like I did not care at all (as I usually do), and I had my face right in direct shot of a bright light on the dance floor. I was just laughing, smiling, dancing, with my head held high and smiling at the sky. This girl who I was dancing near comes up to me and says "you look like the happiest person on Earth right now!" And that was all it took.

Unfortunately, I had gotten lucky the night before, and my buddy hadn't so I tried to be a good host and introduce the girl to my buddy, but he was already pretty hammered and completely dropped the ball, lol. But that's beside the point!

There's an old man in my neighborhood that does that, he's NW6 with thick white hair, he does a massive combover, it goes all around, it even covers the back. My mother said he's been doing it for years, just shows you that you'll never get over hair loss.

Our safety guy has a HORRID comb over and a REALLY FLAT head. Just in the front so its like 5 hairs that span this HUGE distance. Plus hes like 5' even. Man I feel bad for him but really he needs to chop it off. Everyone says his brother has one to going in the other direction. Theyre like little bald version of those twins from GI Joe.
