20 Male, Significant Thinning In Last 2 Years. How Bad Is It?

Is that amount of scalp visible normal? I don't think it is. My hairline hasn't receded much, but the hair has become significantly thinner over the last 2 years or so at the top. Also, the thinning is much more on my right side than the left side, as can be seen in the pictures. Is this pattern baldness, or it could be a temporary condition?

You're diffusing. This is the pattern of my hair loss, although you're much losing your hair at a much quicker rate than I am. I would really go to a doctor to get a prescription for finasteride.

When you say my rate of loss is quicker, is it because I said the loss is from 2 years? Also, the first two pictures are kind of straight under a light, and I've heard it's normal to show some scalp under light. However, this is not to rule out balding. I'm definitely going to see a derm. I just want to be sure about how bad is it exactly.
