Background:
- 20.5 years old
- history of male pattern baldness on both sides of family
- crown thinning and hairline thinning (honestly seems like mix bewteen typical male pattern baldness and diffuse thinning)
Currently use:
- Nizoral 2%, about 4 times a week (2 years)
- Rogaine Foam, twice a day, applied to wet scalp (22 months, haven't been consistent in past, but been pretty good about recently, try to take 12 hours apart)
- Propecia ProPak (1mg), once a day (1 year)
- Multivitamin and fish oil everyday
Progess:
so since starting regimen, I have consistently and progressively gotten slightly thinner in crown, hairline, and even area inbetween the two. i think i might have a variation of diffuse thinning. My oldest brother had a weird pattern of baldness. still male pattern baldness almost certain (hair doctor told me it was). just weird pattern.
Improvements?
how might I be able to improve my hair growth goal and even the appearance of having thicker hair? Not bad enough to use a concealer yet (although I think I would be the perfect candidate for it with my hair type). Any suggestions on great thickening shampoo? currently using Vive for Men Daily Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner. works alright, but not great.
Question:
How likely is it for someone to simply just not be a responder to the Big Three? Starting to have my doubts since I never experience a shed and i consistenly lose the same amount of hair each day (approximately).
