Hey peaceman, practice what you preach. I am not a troll. I have said the same as most people here. He has receded hairline but It is very hard to tell if it is balding or just maturing. He also has said that always had long forehead. At this moment IMO it seems matured hairline, but possibly I am wrong. Also last crown picture is ok, isn't it?

And as the big green one Notcoolanymore said he should go to a dermatologist.

Moreover he has psoriasis. We don't know if he has scalp psoriasis causing the thinning. Go to a dermatologist Tenorio :)

Tenorio, this zone is your crown, it is normal appear tiny bald areas around that crown, independent of its position over the head.

I have an appointment to see a dermatologist for friday. But before hand i have also notice my facial hair on my right side of my face is thinner than the left. I would also notice that i sleep on the right side, so the right side (thinning side of both my hair and facial hair) is compress against the pillow. I notice if wear my hair normal you can't tell im thinning on that side, when i slick it back you can. I have attach both pics hair good.jpghair thin.jpg

Tell your dermatologist. I don't think it's due to sleeping position. Thinning or prebalding can start first only at one side and later affects the other. Also can I ask if you have ever had psoriasis on that zone or on your scalp?

And about your hairstyle it is normal thinning is less noticeable if you brush it forward, I also used to do it. You can cover it because you have thinning only in the first centimetres you hide of your side hairline.

Nevertheless in my opinion you still look good, it is still soon to catch whatever. Keep us updated about your dermatologist appointment. Good luck Tenorio!

Yes i had psoriasis in that zone, over the years i have scratch/pick them out. could that be a factor why im thinning there?

Absolutely. Psoriasis is not a direct cause for hairloss but scratching and particularly picking plaques out of the scalp can harm and uproot your hair.

Morover there are some topic treatments with growth-inhibiting potential that you possibly could have used to treat your psoriasis over the years.

My hair is the same as yours, one side is thinner then the other. it may be early signs male pattern baldness because the side that was thinner on me receded first and was generally the worse when the recession properly started. I would definitely see a hair specialist though, because recession wise it's hard to tell if you have male pattern baldness or not.

Also get a hair analysis - gives heavy metals in your system and missing minerals in your diet

Just another update posting more pictures, I have stop blow drying my hair and putting coconut oil on my scalp every night before i go to bed. Should I start taking those meds (big three) ? Am i still an Norwood 2.5 ? I put my hair under the light so you can see it at its worst stage of thinnest 11733237_10206780161525305_993813555_n.jpg11759432_10206780161405302_43458703_n.jpg11749642_10206780161325300_596934519_n.jpg

Really thick density still which is good, could do the entire big 3 if you want, but could probably just do finasteride alone.
