Thank you for your help. I think i will add Rogaine to my regimen along with Nizoral and i currently use the 2% one. I have tried low laser therapy and It didnt do much for me but then again the clinic I went too had some photos of their clients before and after a few months and some had considerable differences and others didnt. Let me know how your venture goes with it and maybe ill consider trying it again. I did it twice a week for about 3 months and saw not even the slightest improvement in mine. Maybe i gave up on it too soon.

No problem. I think using Rogaine and Nizoral together is a good plan of action. Regarding the low level laser, it is possible you are unresponsive to it, but if you only used it for 3 months, there is really no way to tell for sure. As with any treatment, it takes at least 4 months (and sometimes a full 6 months) before a treatment produces any noticeable effects (if it is working). It is not possible to accurately assess the effectiveness of a treatment until you have used it at least 4 - 6 months. I will definitely let you know what I find out after testing it myself if I have a chance to do that!

If you scared on finasteride sides just get your Test/DHT tested first. If they are in check chances are you wont get sides. Low Test or DHT/ high estrogen are all big no no's when it comes to finasteride/dutasteride.
I don't think the level of DHT matters as it is the sensitivity to it that causes baldness, not the level. finasteride/dutasteride have been shown to raise both T and Estrogen. In my case these levels were low to begin with, so it will interesting to see what the levels are once I get my bloodwork done again.

I am starting to take rogaine. Any recommendations how I should approach this to ensure minimal damage comes as a result?

It's VERY hard to see any results (beside using finasteride or minoxidil). If you're interested in natural products, I wrote a blog post a few months back which include a few tips to regrow hair naturally.
