IMAG0512.jpg Snapshot_20160804.JPG IMAG0512.jpg Snapshot_20160804.JPG Im not on the big 3.. i sort of gave up early 20s. I've had this issue since my early 20s and it all started when i ddi a crash diet for a year straight to lose a lot of weight which i did. I became addicted to the gym and you know new me new hair so i buzzed it all off only to realize that my hair follicles were dead and some how over night i just became bald..

Is it too late to jump on now or no?

First off, you're not that much different in your 30's than your 20's. So saying that is kinda silly. If you had a full head of hair up till age 29, and then it started going to sh*t at 30, you wouldn't be
saying that.
Trust me. You want to keep your hair at any age. Even if those so called "youthful fun times" are behind you.

But yeah. Your hair is kinda fucked.

I wanna keep my hair till the day I die. I dont get the logic in people being fine with it because of older age. To answer your question: Yes its to late. Either go with a hair piece, or tattoo those dots on your head.

Hey man sorry to hear, but you CAN get alot of hair back with the right treatments and a little luck.. You seem to know about the big 3 and that's good.. But swap the finasteride for dutasteride. Get a dermaroller at 1.5mm and use once a week. Hell even add in topical estrogen (estrogel) and I guarantee you will have some decent regrowth.. Not enough to grow a full head of hair but definitely enough to buzz and frame your face. It's not over yet bro, the battle has just begun.

@bridgeburn give this guy some hope please

male pattern baldness.

Nothing unusual.

However, the extent of your hair loss is very aggressive

At this point, a wig is your only option. There is rele nothing to salvage, and the area is to big to restore (transplant)

You do actually look pretty decent. Do what I recommend and you can probably get alot of hair back if you got the $$$ for it.

you do pull off the bald look bro.

I would say just medicate, and maintain what you got

Avoid the horse shoe look and you should be fine. Even a stubbly NW5 is miles better

I got the money. I even have money for hair transplant multiple times over but the thing is i dont want to look like those guys that are trying to hide it nor do i want something unrealistic or not natural looking and from what ive seen and heard about transplant its a hit and miss and because i am in my 20s i dont know how much more hair i'll end up losing.

I would take the big 3 as i have done before for like a few months years ago but i was joining the military so i had to stop. I dont think ill get the results i want though lol what are the chances of full recovery or even density to be able to comb again? probably zero i think

I got that horse shoe look if i dont shave. I always thought you lose everything from the front to back but i have this large patch of hair in front of my forehead

With dutasteride, minoxidil and topical estrogen the chances are fairly high.

Hey man i feel you. I am little younger than you 23 and im a N3 though admittedly i am not as bald as you. I am often mistaken for somone in my 30s because of hair-loss. I actually went in for an evaluation and the doctor said "your hair isnt bad for your age" and i was like - dude you know im 23. He didnt even know how to respond.

Honestly your best bet is an hair transplant or you could grow it out and try topix or caboki

propecia, rogaine, and nizoral only help you keep the hair you have. They dont significantly grow back hair
