Just wanted to correct you a little bit for the record: the darker hair color and decent thickness is actually my baseline from 2016. The towhead was actually from abruptly stopping minoxidil in May 2017, which made me shed like crazy.
Attached photo illustrates it well, left is from 2016 before starting any treatment, right is in summer 2017 after being off minoxidil for like 2 months. The shedding started about a month in and it took me a few months after restarting to regrow my hair, but it came back even stronger.

Needless to say, I think minoxidil helped me maintain for all these years as well as regrow some hairline (right now I'm shedding so it's not apparent but the hairline corners improved from baseline in 2016).

You use 50mg ru once daily at night?? I always get white flakes and sticky hair from using RU.

Nonetheless, it is evidence that minoxidil is the primary cause of improvement. Again, I think the needling causes the drug to go quite systemic and act as powerful as the oral form.

It just came away on its own. I think I might have been using it on my face as well for beard growth so I stopped.

I use 100mg min topical once. and 3mg oral twice a day. Why u scared of using oral? U will boost the effect. Im gonna avoid RU. It always makes me shed and its expensive. Hate the white flakes on hair and hair feels like glue despite washing. Its a very sticky substance.

Usually PG+Ethanol since it's cheaper. I used KB once but it irritated my scalp so I switched back. I order 5-7 at once and just store them in the drawer, it's an alcohol solution so it doesn't really go bad.

By the way, is actifolic quality?

Tbh I have no idea about the quality of this stuff. I do know most of not all of it is made in China in grey market labs. I would use it but I’m hesitant because a) I don’t trust China and b) there’s lots of reports of people having heart issues while using it
