24 Yo, I Think I'm Balding In The Worst Way

I'm 24 years old and right now my hairline has not receded as much as to be worrying however I've been experiencing hair thinning overall as my hair around the age of 15 was soo thick it was bothering me actually.
Right now again it's not too noticeable but I personally know how it was so I am sure there is some thinning going on.

Now the biggest problem because of which I'm posting this is the very front tip of my hairline has gotten really thin. The bottom picture was taken an hour before this post was made.

Now to see the difference, the picture below is from 2016

My dad was bald but it started showing when he entered his 40s. His father was bald too. On my mom side there is not a single man ever that has been or is bald.

Should I fear male pattern baldness or is it something else that could be the cause of this?

Also if its any relevant I have this problem on my scalp right in the front where the skin is peeling off in small flakes and at times it gets incredibly itchy to the point where it starts to bleed as I scratch my self. Once I found out the scratching causes hair fall I stopped doing it but the hair does not seem to come back. I do not think it's dandruff cause anybody with dandruff that I have spoken too does not experience the same thing.

Any advice would mean a lot to me!
And if you think I might be going bald please be honest, I'd rather know so I can try to cope with the fact.

Thank you!

You are 100% receding. start taking Finasteride and also use minoxidil on your hairline.

Your hair looks fine. Even woman get thin, wispy hairs at the front of their hairline.

Idk why people are saying it is nothing. You're clearly receding. I would not go as far as to say you're balding in the worst way possible, so I definitely think you're overreacting, as crown balding is much worse than that. But I would jump on finasteride if you want to keep your hair.

Definitely thinning from Male Pattern Baldness. Get on Hair loss regime, i agree with Finasteride, maybe some Hair loss supplements like Viviscal Pro, and Low Level Laser Hair Stim. Follow closely with Photos every 3-6 months to monitor progress.

Look bro you are starting to thin but I dont think you should stress yet. Unless your seeing clumps of hair falling this slow thinning is normal. I think you will be bald when you get to your 40s but as of right now me personally I wouldnt jump on finasteride yet. I would get on rogaine and nizorol shampoo twice a week and see what happens.

It really does not look bad and I don't think most people would even notice that you are balding. At 24 I bet there is a good amount of people who are further progressed in their balding.

Yep, you’re receding, and starting in the middle indicates at least a NW4 as your final pattern. But it’s far from the worst way. The worst would be DUPA. Check your sides and back for thinning. If you’re thinning there it’s over brah

Minoxidil does, for alot of people, more harm in the long run than it does good. First of all, you have to be part of the 45% group where it even works for you, which is honestly not much. And alot of people who get immediate good results with minoxidil, report severe shedding and hairloss after 5-8 months where they go back to baseline.
And then, theres a slight chance it makes hairloss even worse for you. Trust me, its a thing.
Im not saying minoxidil doesnt have its use. Im saying that, aslong as you still have a full head of hair, do not use it. Which is the case for OP

Do you think it's worth using minoxidil in my case? Mine should come on Monday.

The people who are being rude on this post are the same ones who will say they had wish they had caught their hair loss earlier.

No, you are crazy, why do you even have an account here?, you have a full head of hair. Your hair looks healthy and strong, you have almost zero signs of recession. You dont even have widow peaks.
The widow peaks you have are simply the masculine hairline, thats all.

If you start using minoxidil now, and fast forward 12 months, i can assure you its going to look worse than it does now. You have absolutely healthy hair, theres no point in using anything.

You are not a woman. You dont have perfect, tree trunk thick hair like they do. Most men do not have perfect hair, and you dont need it.
You have good hair. Everyone will look at your hair and think its nice. No one except these fear mongering, paranoid idiots in this forum will tell you to hop on 3 different drugs because you have a little fluffy, short vellus hair in the front.
Dont do it man, i promise you you are going to regret it.

Your crown is not thinning. Thats just how crowns look. The hair there doesnt look in the same direction, it goes in circles, which is why you can see your skin. I could see my scalp skin like that when i was 12 years old and i have zero crown thinning whatsoever

Thanks bro.

The worst thing about hairloss is not being 100% sure that you do actually have hairloss and haven't just matured. My hairline has always been super high and shitty (along with super straight and fine). Like I said in my post, I'm happy staying on finasteride, but I'm unsure of using minoxidil right now as I don't want to use up all the available tools too early.
