It's mostly visible in front but I think it's thinning about equally all around, just that the back is more dense normally.
I also have dry dandruff so when my dermatologist persribed me minodixil I did see some growth but it started madly itching me, in half sleep I would really start scratching so I stopped using it. I tried applying some hydrating cream afterwards but it didn't help much. Now I see I needed an anti inflammatory shampoo? But I still need to use my anti dandruff shampoo, I've tried those cheap non perscription nestle and burdock shampoos but they've only made my dandruff come back and I have no patience to wait 1 year to see results.
Been a while since that, now I'm trying with coffee, coconut oil and massaging. I don't know should I go to dermatologist again... or I could try something myself with natural stuff? There's so much though, what to choose...

how about trying things that actually work? like finasteride to halt your hairloss and nizoral for your inflammation?

I had Oranozol, used it ocasionally but that leaves hair super dry and should not be used frequently or over a long period of time.

would you mind posting pictures of your hair? have you tried finasteride, I assume you have male pattern baldness?

Hope these are good enough. My hair used to be dense enough for the hair dresser to thin it with those hairbrush looking scissors. Now it's see trough.

I would get on finasteride if I were you tbh. Maybe minoxidil aswell.
My dermatologist said that's extreme and I could get serious side effects so she didn't give me finasteride, just 2% minoxidil some shampoo and balzam.

male pattern baldness itself is extreme. I know people that went bald while on minoxidil alone, and I have never meant anyone that kept their hair on minoxidil alone. You have very little chance long term without finasteride. Its funny some doctors say finasteride is too dangerous yet other places like the american hair loss assocation recommend finasteride as the first choice of treatment. No one agrees on anything I guess.

I guess I can ask another doctor, this one was skecthy anyways, she even mentioned to tattoo my head with fake hair dots several times.
Why I went to her? Well my usual dermatologist got too popular and I didn't wanna wait 2 months, this one took me in like 3 days, though even the usual one just gave me minoxidil, didn't say a word about finasteride when I went to her before. I googled who are the best dermatologists in my city and called the first one, for some reason I got the last one.

That type of loss could respond really well to finasteride and minoxidil. But you need to take it now. As in yesterday.

Hopefully this new derm knows what they’re talking about.

You mean for DHT? I only have normal blood tests, they were always ok.

What is the chance of side effects? I don't wanna get boobs or become impotent :/
