27 Yr Old Male...what Norwood Is This????

Am 27 yrs old male.. Recently my hairline has started receding more on left side than right..what norwood am I at present??? Is this maturing or balding???. As per genetics my dad started balding only since 45 yrs and now he is 55 yrs with norwood 2...maternal side grandfather was norwood 2 at 76...I don’t see any hair fall than normally seen...

Normal thick hairline. NW1.

This is my left side temple and hairline... Seems receded as of recently
I can see now what you are talking about. It's very minor for now. If you want to take some insurance out for your hair then start on finasteride. Otherwise just want it carefully every six months.

It's actually both since you are forming a mature hair line that is transitioning from a juvenile hairline to a mature hairline due to some minor recession. NW1 is a juvenile hairline while NW2 is a mature hairline according to my perspective. NW3 is beyond the both of them so I would say is where you could say you are truly balding beyond the traditional mature hair line.

True... It's actually moving back than it was 5 yrs back.its approaching nearly 1.5cms back than the usual hairline. Any chance of this progression to stabilise???

Don't stress out.you have enough hair to cheers ,at least for now. Best luck.
