3 1/2 month update on big 3 + 15%

i'm really impress. mannnn when i started the treatment, i thought it was the worse thing i ever did cause the shed let me looking really bad on my frontal section (for the record, my hairloss is thinning all over my head, frontal, temple, vertex and crown) my scalp was visible from mile range if i had gel on my head. but now is a different story.

first month - i shed like hell. i thought i was going to loose all my hair. and i was going to discontinue the products, but this website kept my hopes alive

second month- the shed stop completly and i wasn't loosing any hair at all, i did still look bad from the shed but i wasn't loosing further hair.

third month - my hair look dark, thick and strong, now i can apply gel with confident, and my scalp doesn't show at all it great, and i can't believe i only have 3 month on the treatments. i haven't notice any regrowth on my head but i know that the hair that i shed from minoxidil and finasteride are coming back and that's why my hair is looking so fullest and black and strong and and mannnn i'm going to cry, i'm beating this hairloss sh*t, only on the temple i have notice new regrow hair, a lot of dark vellus hair, not like peach fuzz, they are dark terminal hairs that i didn't have before.
hey and minoxidil has work so great for me that MY BARBER SHAVED MY FOREHEAD CAUSE IT WAS FULL OF PEACH FUZZ HAIR FROM minoxidil.
i feel confident and i know is not just a good hair day cause i have seen improvement for 3 weeks now, and is only keeps getting better and better, i also don't loose any more hair, i can pull it really hard and i might just pull onlyh 2 or 3 and that's trying reallly hard. (before it was like 20+)

i don't know if minoxidil work best when a person is really hairy but is a question that should be answer. i have a lot of hair all over my body,(come on i even have to trim my ears cause all of the hair that i grow) and since i'm so hairy i don't know if it is easier for minoxidil to start kicking.

i'll keep all of you update, cause if thing keep going the way they are, by one year mark i'll have more hair than i ever had before male pattern baldness started.

Thats awesome how its workin for you .... im glad to hear from somebody on how the sheds have STOPPED!!!.It seems as though there are alot of unlucky people of this site and all minoxidil makes them do is shed.Hopefully you will get all your hair back and be hittin on girls left and right.lol.

well i even wrote a post about how minoxidil made me shed to baldness. that was 2 month ago. but i'm glad that i did continue with my regimen.
i have miss a couple of application of minoxidil and a couple of pill of finasteride. but nothing to worrry about.

now the shed hair that i loss are coming back, and my hair is becoming thicker.

Here is SOME FEED BACK YOU MIGHT WANT TO READ.

since my hairloss is all over my head, but it is worse on my frontal section, i decided to apply minoxidil 15% on that section. and 5% to my other section of my scalp. well let me explain.

in the morning 5% all over my scalp
night 15% frontal section and 5% mid to back, (vertex and crown)

i have seen the same result with 5% in the back as i have with 15% in the front, so i decided to stop 15% and apply 5% GENERIC to that area.
that was 4 weeks ago and i still seeing a lot of improvement in my frontal section. and 15% is also to expensive.

so i was fool by 15% looks, the liquid feel strong and smell really strong, and also when you apply it, is like u just apply a super xtra strength liquid. but the result wasn't any different to me than 5%.

good to hear cause im buying the 5% sometime next week....im usin 2% right now have been for about a week now but i got it for free so im not bitchin.but i got advise from niles about how i should use 2% in the mornin and 5% at night.although i have thinning all on top but most in the crown area.So hopefully the 5% works as well on me as it is doing for you.

hey ed, its good to hear you are experiencing early success. Just keep in mind that you may have more sheds months down the line, due to finasteride. I experienced an early minoxidil shed too, then all was going great until about month 9, when I lost a lot of hair. I have since recovered and believe that I experienced a finasteride shed. I am sure that what fell out is going to grow back, hopefully thicker then before.

Remember, the battle is ongoing.

Ed, congratulations! It sounds like I have about the same balding pattern as you, and I started finasteride in mid november. I would love those results. As of yet, no improvement in my hair. Good luck.

hey hairless porter are you using minoxidil, cause i don't think that only finasteride will do it, neither will minoxidil by itself. the combo is really the best choice. i know minoxidil is a pain but is worth it, and finasteride. well i didn't get any side effect, probably cause i was thinking so much about hairloss and not worrying about side effect that i might had them but i just didn't notice.

i think my improvement right now is because of the minoxidil. i think within a few more months i might see improvement of finasteride.
