38 and going bald. Baldness sucks.

Hey guys my name is Geoff. I never thought I would say it but it looks like I'm going bald. All through my 20s I had what could be referred to as Norwood 1 hair. In my early 30s I started to notice my hairline looked a little funny but thought nothing of it. I've been in denial up until a couple of weeks ago. In the shower I noticed a few hairs in my hand while shampooing my hair. I looked at my hairline and noticed it looked quite receeded .

Thats what brought me here. I've been doing my research and it looks like I am a Norwood 2.5 on the baldness scale, heading to a Norwood 3 . I've been finding it hard to go out in public. My wife is telling me I'm crazy but I've been on this site long enough to see what can happen if you don't act. I'm going to get on propecia this week . Pray for me my bald brothers!

Hopefully I can get it all back. See my father has perfect hair at 72, his father had great hair, my mothers father had great hair, my two brothers are 42 and 33 and they both have thick, amazing hair. Oh god, why me . Not to mention I've seen a few gray hairs! :sobbing:

^ Why is everything besides being fully bald not a big deal to you? Yes I have a decent head of hair, AT 19! You had great hair till your early 20s. So does that mean you never had a problem?
