OK so here I am. Exactly six months from the first drop of a pill.
1.25 mg Generic Proscar daily
Nizoral 3X/week
Results:
Hair is dramaticly worse off. Diffuse thinning has spread to other areas which were solidly covered at baseline. Thinning is now OBVIOUS, baseline only detectable by the scrutiny of other male pattern baldness sufferers. 10-20% worse than baseline.
I just ordered spironolactone. My question is, should I give up on the finasteride use and replace with spironolactone? Or should I continue to use the finasteride with spironolactone?. I know the 12 month mark is pretty popular but it's hard to imagine I've come this far with these poor results only to bounce back by month 12. I'd be happy just getting back to baseline. Gee, I must be the 1 out of the 155! LOL.
