6 Months finasteride - No Real Change. Opinions Please.

Hi all, I posted for the 1st time back in 5/2018. I deleted the contents of that post quickly afterwards as people (rightly) agreed I had the signs and I just went into a period of denial. Eventually I managed to get my head out the sand and try get control of my situation and started finasteride 11/2019. I’ve just recently hit 6 months and I really don’t see any progress. I know it takes at least a year but I thought I’d start to see some signs of progress beginning. It’s really having such a negative impact on my life and I know others are the same. I just don’t feel like I’m the same person any more. My hope was that eventually I could at least get enough hair back so it didn’t look as bad. I’d appreciate some feedback. I’m not on minoxidil just 0.5mg finasteride every day.

Give it another 6 months, if maintaining but unhappy with no regrowth add either 5mg oral minoxidil or dermarolling+topical minoxidil

Im thinking thats my plan, yeah. I‘m still hopeful finasteride has yet to give me some more results. I haven’t really stopped shedding or shown any real improvement in shedding since I started.
