Hey guys - me again.
Long story short, I'm going through one wicked shed. I mean, rapid fire, hairs everywhere shed. The only thing I changed about my regimen was switching from foam to liquid Rogaine. The liquid Rogaine really irritates my scalp and resulted in large flakes of dead skin that sadly often had my poor vellus hairs attached. There was also a constant stinging and itching sensation. My hairline swept back pretty quickly... I can see from where my scalp is tanner than the rest how far back it's gone.
Not fun.
Not fun at all.
Foam is on the way, and I've discontinued Liquid (or at least cut back how much I use), but for now I just have to deal with it. I bought clippers today and was about to say "screw it" and shave my head. But I swore that I'd give myself a full year on this crock of tripe that Merck pushes down our throats, and I'm going to stick to it. I'm really getting tired of it all.. tired of constantly going to the restroom to check the hairline, the knot in the stomach on the day that my hair is bad, the hairs all over the bathroom, the avoiding sitting close to people. God. What I wouldn't give to have the guts to shave my head and be free.
I'm going to get a haircut tomorrow instead of shaving my head. I don't know if I'm ready for that yet.
I just gotta keep in mind that sheds are temporary, right? I could really use some encouragement.
