My hairloss pattern is vertex, crown, temple and frontal diffusing. Frontal and temple is were its more damage. i started reading this site back then and tried liquid rogain 5%, it gave me a bad scalp irritation i had to follow with nizoral to control it. even with nizoral it was super hard to control the flakes.
By 3 month on minoxidil i thought i was cure since even my forehead was full of hair, the shedding stopped and i was growing all my hair back. by 6 month i started to shed again and got scare thinking that it wasn't working anymore so i added finasteride (from inhouse pharmacy proscar 5mg cut in 1/4 1.25mg) i used finasteride FOR 3 YEAR WITH NO EFFECT. finasteride made it worse and very thin, i know this cause after i let finasteride go my hair went back to normal. during this time i had all side effect.
i have use minoxidil 5%, doctor lee 5%, 15%, spironolactone, tricomim, durasteride, and other pills like MSM, L-ARGINI etc.
NOW, when i started using dutasteride, this worked amazing (inhouse pharmacy generic dutasteride 0.5mg) i used it for 3 years aswell and my hair never looked so good. I thought again that i was cure but then i just stopped working, started loosing my hair again (i gave it 1 year xtra with no effect).
now i have been OUT OF finasteride AND dutasteride for 2 years, i thought i still had the side effects but now i know it was mastubating 2 much just leave your penis alone and you'll be fine.
i switch from liquid rogain to foam and this thing is amazing. It dry really quickly and gave back all my hair AGAIN. i have been using it for almost 2 years now with great success (NO finasteride) with nizoral 2-3 a week. i started to see again that rogain foam wasn't working so well and that i was loosing hair. Maybe was because of bad shedding.
well i really needed something to combat DHT, so i gave finasteride a try again BUT THIS TIME WENT WITH LEGIT PROSCAR PRESCRIPTION FROM COSTCO PHARMACY. i wanted to make sure that probably the reason finasteride did not work the last time was because i was getting FAKE finasteride. NOW i would really know if finasteride is actually working. Also to prevent side effect or aleast to keep it minimum i'm doing 0.5mg finasteride per day.
So far it had been a 3 month and i'm not loosing any hair and seen amazing filling in my temples and frontal. I'm sure this is a switch i have made in my regimen but i believe that finasteride is actually helping blocking DHT for other product llike minodixiil to be effective again for me.
This is my regime i'm and is working for me with excellent regrow, for the first time in 5 years i can go out without using dermmatch.

nizoral 1% 2-3x week
