I wasn't indubitably checked out. Once or twice I had a woman look at me and smile but when I encountered the same woman again there was nothing. These were in situations where I couldn't do anything about it (was uncertain also at the time but there wasn't really an opportunity). It could have been a checking out or it could just be that I caught her on a happy day. Also, once, a woman in a professional setting was being particularly friendly. This one who was friendly after I slightly disrespected her career choice. With a buzzed head, that's all of it outside of dates as far as I can recall. The last time that I was indubitably checked out was 2012 or 2013. And I'm in shape with everything else in order (nice shoes, buzzed head which sometimes looks ok in dim lighting, varying levels of beard growth, head shape that suits baldness I think, silly PUA type accessories). So even with all of these things that I'm doing I'm not getting checked out much at all.

So I got 3 check outs in 5 years if we're being conservative and counting those as checking outs. @Exodus2011 says that he's not in shape and has a head shape that doesn't suit baldness, and is around my height. So it stands to reason that he'd go a whole lifetime without any.

Well I'm around your height but around 30lb heavier and still do not look so big. So you'd be considered skinny. The problem is that people only see you in clothes. So being ripped doesn't mean a thing. If you want to look in shape, the only option is to bulk up. Ideally, I'd be more ripped and 'athletic' looking but I don't really feel like I have a choice.

Well I'm around your height but around 30lb heavier and still do not look so big. So you'd be considered skinny. The problem is that people only see you in clothes. So being ripped doesn't mean a thing. If you want to look in shape, the only option is to bulk up. Ideally, I'd be more ripped and 'athletic' looking but I don't really feel like I have a choice.

I've seen maybe 3 bald guys with a cute woman in my whole life. The rest are older bald guys and they probably fit into the "they met when he had hair" category.

I wish that I could grow it out and then use concealer but minoxidil hasn't given me enough regrowth. I might have had a chance if I had started minoxidil 2 years earlier. Instead I listened to internet charlatans who preached confidence over hair. That obviously doesn't work. So maybe I'm partly to blame for this.

Why do you consider this the problem as opposed to not starting finasteride sooner?

I never used finasteride and do not want to. There's PFS and the regular effects of inhibiting dht like reduxre muscle mass and the risk of birth defects. Finasteride is not a viable option in my opinion.

It's all a smokescreen actually. Dad bod Vs in shape. Nice guy Vs bad boy. They're all irrelevant. All that a guy needs to date well is a NW1. Give him height on top of that and he can really date well. But nothing happens without a NW1 (or yes a nw2 or NW3). Those other things are totally irrelevant.

I’m not much taller but have great natural muscle tone.. if I worked out properly I’d been in fantastic shape.. which I don’t really want to take protein shakes and turn into an egg head!

finasteride is unsafe because there seems to be - despite what the studies say - a statistically significant possibility of persistent side effects (persisting for your whole life). So I'll never use it.

You're wrong about the last one. One day when they need to get married, they will. Ask them how and they wouldn't be able to tell you or will say "she approached me" etc. That's life as a NW1.

That's because you and I judge men on our own men standards. For women, it's totally irrelevant whether a guy is in shape, takes care of himself, is intelligent etc. etc. They're all bonuses but the main thing they need in a man is a NW1. There are plenty of 'freaks' who managed to get married and have kids. They did that by being NW1.
