OK first a little about me;
I'm 35 and pretty certain I've been losing my hair for at least 15 years. I started noticing it in college and every year it gets worse. It's been a very, very slow process. I've receded quite a bit and thinned out finally all over the place. I remember back in my mid 20s I was very concerned about my hair loss to the point where it almost consumed me. I look back now and realize there were things that I didn't do because I didn't want to be in public. I regret some of these things now. As I grew older hair loss stopped bothering me less and less. Now when I hang out with friends or go anywhere I really could care less. A-matter-of-fact the balding jokes stopped and now the tables are turned and the insults are now directed at the "oddities" who haven't started losing their hair. The problem with hair loss is that it's a disease of the insecure not the secure. When I was young I kept thinking there was no way in hell that I could get a decent date. You know what? That never happened. There are more important things in relationships other than a full head of hair. I would take overwhelming confidence more than a full head of hair. Men who are extremely confident tend to convey an attitude that is extremely attractive to women regardless of hair count. Going bald bothers everyone don't get me wrong but it's your choice as to whether it will consume you and paralyze you with fear eventually rendering you useless and wasting many years of your life. I remember when I started to stop worrying about my hair loss. I was watching "One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest" and the scene where they are playing cards. I was looking at Nicholson's hair that was obviously intentionally messed up to the point where he looked extremely bald. The scenes hilarious but the impression I was left with was that Nicholson didn't give a crap about his hair and throughout his career parodied his hair loss in a number of movies. But you know what he was a great actor and definitely more dominant than most of his peers. He took his receding hairline and ran straight to the box office with it. Nicholson wouldn't be where he is today if he would have been constantly worried about his hair. He wouldn't have even made it to the first audition. We all know the type of guy; totally bald but never wears a hat, dresses nicely and just seems to have no problem finding dates. That's because he made the choice not to let it bother him. People who shave their heads must feel such a tremendous sense of relief. They can finally stop worrying about something that's been bothering them for years and start living life again. I know for a fact that most people could give a rat's *** about your hair loss. We have a dog next to us with only 3 legs, but everyday he's out there running around, playing fetch and trying all he can to still act like a dog. Humans should try this approach more often. Take what you have and make the best of it. I'm not saying that trying to do something about your hair loss is a bad thing; doing anything to improve yourself is good, I'm just saying to try to not let it consume your lives. There is honestly more to life out there and it's so short. I know plenty of guys who were balding and were able to get married to a lovely wife. I was married at 34 receding hairline and all to a very attractive women. I know sometimes it’s hard to do but just remember it does get better as you get older. I look back now at how much time and energy I wasted; time that I can never get back. I regret that. As you get older hair loss is a common problem and less and less people start caring about it. It’s really all about confidence and how you use it. Focus on other things that build your confidence; like your brain, your body, your income, your friends, your family or just plain you.
Good luck all and just remember don’t waste too much precious time worrying about something so fickle and Yes hot women do love balding guys. I know.
