Since I satred balding and co-incidently when I became hooked up to the internet I have always looked for a site that actually praises just shaving your head and not trying to be like everyone else and just deal with your hair-loss in a respectable way( instead of being a mong, putting shite on your head every day, scalp exercises etc)
To shave it all off is a wonderfull thing, why be another sad delusional fuckstick couting the hairs after 6 months of 2x daily treamtments..Only to discover youve grown 2 brand new hairs!
f*** OFF,

Any way I found this site for guys, who have maybe found a secure point in there manhood.

http://www.slybaldguys.com

I think this site will do amasing things for a few members on here, I hate to beust to balls but some guys on here our effiminate and could never appreciate the genius of this site.
You guys just need to come out though............

Anyway check it out and stop being sheep, and do your own thing, after all were all PIONEERS, at least I like to think of myslef as a pionear.

(yeah im drunk as your mum, but u get the jist u sobre bastards! :D)

it is good but i just cant subscribe to that way off thinking - maybe my
shoulders arent broad enough but my hair falling out and the subsequent
negative effect on my appearance upsets me so ill do all i can to keep it.

Each to their own I suppose, the thing is.. you need to remember that some of us on here aren't as bald and defeatist as you, some of us still have most of our hair and don't need to comfort ourselves in this way, others are happy with the hope that they may respond, and lots do. I'm sorry that you weren't able to save your hair but at least you found the website to help you feel better about it.

Have any of you ever shaved your head before? If not, how do you know if it suits you or not?

Awesome man! I think you'll feel much better if you buzz it.

I post at SBG. I think it's important for folks to know that sites like this exist and that there's an option to worrying over hair treatments that may not be working as well as you'd like. A lot of bald-by-choicers post there too. Feel free to sign up and post even if you're not committed to the idea of shaving yet.

I am actually thinking about doing this, just to see what it looks like.

Probably would do it like early May so I can grow it out a bit before summer if it looks ridiculous.

Definatley check it out and post on it, they are only too happy to talk to you about insecurities when shaving your head,

p.s. it was on one of Blondeguys earlier posts that I joined up there.

wow, simply pathetic.

Wow, you are my hero, I bet youve got so many friends because your so positive.

You need to grow up and stop trying to put a downer on anyone who is trying to help people with hairloss.

Am I missing the point? Are we all meant to be unhappy, because we have a little skin showing through our hair?

OH yeah I forgot, Ill just go and buy some black clothes and sit in my room all day hating the world. Thanks for clarifying my mind to let me see the error of my ways.

Why not instead of wasting money on the site that shaves your head, save up for a transplant? That way you won't have to visit some site with a bunch of losers where everyone creates false hopes for eachother.

Transplants are false hope. Itll only fall out in a couple of years anyway. I could afford a transplant right now if I wanted one but I dont.

1/it looks sh*t
2/itll probably fall out
3/I wouldnt feel comfortable
4/I like nature and karma

I accepted hairloss finally for the first time a couple of months ago. Im not depressed, Im confident and most important Im happy. Oh and by the way Ive had alot of girls approaching me lately(since this is no.1 on this board).

So I really dont think Im a loser, Ive got a good job, I may be single but Im happy

I shaved my head when I was 18 years old, for a year. It was when I went to the Navy (compulsory militar service in Spain until recently - not compulsory to shave off, but I did it). Your look shocks you for a few days, but after I got used to the new look, I think it did fit my face. No more or less success with women, if that proves anything. But you make an impact, that's def. true.

Of course every face is different. But you can probably use photoshop to roughly check how does it look on you, and if is not bad, try it. It takes the edge of the hairloss problem: here is the worse I can get with hairloss, and is not bad. I still prefer a full head of hair, that is why I am here, but I read so many posts of people feeling so miserable that the shaving thing could give them confidence and put things in perspective.

And if you get some money to spare, shave your hair and use Proxiphen cream as an after shave. You will need to use very little, and the absortion has to be huge. If Proxiphen doesn't work for me in the next months with long hair, I will try. I rather go that route than hair transplant.

As much as I admire many of the guys on that site for saying f*** it and doing what had to be done, I think most of them look like sh*t, all muscle gone to fat, faces run to seed.

Still sometimes there's nothing else to be done.

Looking some of the photos, I don't think that most (or all) of them look better than with a full head of hair. Yes, they probably look better than a NW5, but not better than a NW1/2, which is what most of we try to achieve.

Also, when it fits well in a face (It happened to me as I posted before) there is a sort of alien/futuristic/somehow scaring look, even no-healthy. If you are in a party with 25 like them, you will be freaking for a while, wondering if they are under chemiotherapy (sp?). or they are from two thousand years ahead. If you were in a party with 25 blokes with a full head of hair, you will be jealous.
