A proper site for bald/shaved men

I to tend to agree. I think once you are an NW4 or beyond, it looks better buzzed if not totally shaved even. But I think guys who are below NW4 do mostly look better with growing their hair out to a decent length. I think guys who shave their heads who are below NW4 generally look older when they do so, and guys who are NW4 and above generally look the same age or younger when they shave it down.

NW4 really is the tipping point in my opinion, because there are a lot of thick NW3's out there that look quite decent grown out. But I don't really see any NW4's or NW5's that look good grown out.

If I shave my head it will just be out of curiosity to see what it feels like. I see no reason to keep my head shaved while I still have 90% of my hair.

Yeah, and I bet it's a regular beauty pageant around here. Where's your pic? :p

Why not instead of wasting money on the site that shaves your head, save up for a transplant? That way you won't have to visit some site with a bunch of losers where everyone creates false hopes for eachother.

Heh, you're obviously a troll here to rile these guys up, but I'll bite (SBG is a free forum, by the way). Hair transplants, propecia, rogaine, and all the other stuff you buy are a false hope, especially if you start balding past the transplant...have fun covering that up. There is no cure for balding if your DNA wants you to be bald. All you can do is put off the inevitable another few years and spent your nights with other hair loss forum posters creating false hopes for each other. :)

That's cool. I think everyone should shave their head at least once in their lives, just to live a little. Personally, I like the way I look. And I'm not financially chained to Merck for the rest of my life.

The thing about the site, is that the members are good guys, who are full of confidence because they have accepted their hairloss and moved on, quite alot are married and have kids, whereas on here everyone seems so depressed and single.
Its an option for everyone but not everyone wants to shave it to the bone.
But some people may feel better/look better with a horseshoe, as everyone is different

Neither am I. I'm financially chained to GlaxoSmithKline.

$400 a year is a small price to pay for a lifetime of hair, and not having to shave my head every day to avoid the horseshoe showing up. And I'd get that horseshoe by 30 if I stopped the drugs.

well treatments dont work for everyone so people need another option.
Im trying the treatments at the moment but Im going to buzz my hair down to a 2 and am thinking of shaving it right down in a couple of years or maybe sooner.
I want to go travelling when I get a chance so might try it then to see what I truelly look like to see if I can carry it off.
Like I said it gives you another option and it seems to increase confidence and like Ive said before the guys on that site are very optimistic, happy and confident

Maybe if you're destined to be a nw7 but if you only have moderate hairloss these treatments can help you out.
Please try and remember not everyone likes the shaved look and just as you'll never be a hair transplant guy or a Wig guy there are a huge amount of people who will never shave it or if they do it will be only through lack of any other option and they will hate the look.
With me shaving was something that without m.p.b I would never even consider for a second. The day I shaved it off was the day I gave up my youth as from that moment on I looked like an old man.
I would advise anyone with moderate loss that has stabilised to get a conservative transplant from a top Dr.

Still sometimes there's nothing else to be done.

You are so pathetic.

Which guys are you talking about?

It's funny, because the guys at SBG have the confidence to actually post a picture of themselves. Here, everyone is worried about what they look like and are too pu*&sy to put up a real pic.

As for spending money on the site, I'm sure it costs less than $100 a year to run that site and the owner is ACTUALLY helping more people than the "hair restoration" companies. Though, that was accomplished the day the first person was helped.

Men look younger by shaving their head, not older. Quit trying to kid yourself if you think otherwise. It's usually grey and thinning hair that age a man. If you shave that stuff off, people don't know.

Hair transplants will eventually fall out and if they don't the hair around them will.

Drugs cause life altering side effects - um, I like to be able to have sex with a woman.

$400 a year to have sh**ty looking hair? No thank you. I'd rather spend $10 a month to rock the shaved head and actually attract women.

"I don't want to shave because I might show my horseshoe" News flash, people can already tell that you're balding and trying to fake having hair. And, if you learn how to shave right (takes about 3 days) you won't show much or any of a shadow at all.

Actually, I don't really think everyone should shave their head, but EVERYONE should just embrace it and quit ruining your body and mind with these useless snake oils.

So the vast majority of guys on here are incapable of having sex ?

Don't be stupid. It costs at least a couple thousand in my estimation. Certainly more than $100. Bandwidth/data transfer is expensive.

I talked to the owner - it cost $60 a year. If you don't believe me, check out http://www.759domains.com where the site is hosted.

It's true that men look younger shaved compared to the horseshoe look, and it's very obvious. Of course a man with a full head of hair doesn't look younger when shaved; some may look younger, most don't.
